ok but $20 that’s ok for it now that i think of it
p.s thnx for saying
How is what they are doing ok? Season Passes have ALWAYS INCLUDED a years worth of dlc drops and such. Every game that I know of with season passes follows that rule.
and the fact that this dlc isnt covered and it comes out fall 2017 is a load of crap. One of these days someone is going to sue 343 Like people did with microsofts red ring of death on the xbox 360. 343i is competing with the coalition to see who is the most greedy/incompetent developer.
Oh well, They just lost another customer.

> - Ultimate Edition costs $80. If you bought the season pass separately, that’s on you - You don’t need to buy Blitz packs, Blitz is not the only game mode in the game and they give you plenty of ways to get Blitz packs by playing the game
No, I live in Canada and the Ultimate edition is $100, that counts for you guys too tho, are we forgetting that $80 is still an annoying amount of money, you are trying to use logic to counter this clear betrayal of a “Season’s Pass”
And also, Blitz packs may be the best form of micro transactions halo has seen since Halo 5 but that doesn’t counter the point that Halo 5 had them in for the free content that would come with their funding. They throw them in so people will buy them, that means they expect it to make the base price, and a little more, and this new, out of pass, DLC. Its not like you think, that It was “On me”, because I may not have bought them at all, but lemme say something, consumer trust is a very important factor, and I don’t see much “trust” here, when putting the fact in that nobody needed Blitz in the first place, yet its here, and it was expected to make money, doesn’t that seem a little cheap to you?
I can only assume you’ve been disagreeing with everyone on this section seeing as you have dot it out for me. I know that I shouldn’t have to be subject when I’ve paid the full amount for everything they are going to throw at me for the next 6 months, this included!
Think on that

ok i definitely see where u are coming from it is two new leaders, new game type, campain mission which is with the banished so what price do u think it should be if the won’t include it with the season pass

well i now know
The outrage shown on this thread for something that seems exciting to me is unreal. We were not duped on the Season Pass. In the real world, most companies deliver exactly what they say they will, and 343 has with their season pass. They have delivered additional maps, soon to be additional campaign missions, along with 5 leaders plus Forge along with their units and blitz cards. That is exactly what the season pass said it would do. For anyone expecting a for profit company to over-deliver on their promise because you misinterpreted the words of the season pass, you are living in a dream land. This is an expansion of the game beyond what was promised in the season pass/ ultimate edition. I know I am in a different position than most gamers since I am on the older side of the gaming generation, but I will pay $20 bucks for a new campaign, new leaders, and a new play mode that actually sounds pretty fun.
Beyond the apparent lack of properly interpreting the language of the Ultimate Edition, why is everyone so mad? This is what a lot of people have asked for. Flood, new maps, Banished campaign with cool cut-scenes, a new game mode? Am I missing something here?

Wait, they aren’t adding the new leaders to this thing are they? I swear if they do that.
Anyway, I understand, but come on, that Ultimate edition was a lot of money man, I’m kind’ve disappointed that I, and everyone else who owned the Season’s Pass didn’t get what is clearly a piece of downloadable content in this game. I don’t care about everyone saying “343 Kept to their word, IIII will to buy this for an extra 20, why don’t you?” I’m annoyed because this is so clearly just an addition on top of the mountain I gave to them for it. We’re still ignoring that 80 is a lot of money, and over here in Canada the base is 80 and the Ultimate is 100!
Come on, put yourself in my shoes for a minute! And for that matter, anyone on this thread who’s disagreed with the main tell-off responders.

Yes actually. Please read again this whole thread and come back.
The 2 new “missions” shouldn’t even be considered dlc in the first place. So what they give us 2 more. The campaign itself feels unfinished and the fact that you have to pay more for those is rediculous in the first place. These missions should be far from the season pass description and should be included for al players as it is.
The season pass has done nothing for those who have purchased it. NO NEW MAPS HAVE COME OUT AND WILL NOT (2 new maps this fall isn’t -Yoink-). All it is good for is a handful of new leaders, which btw to most is pointless due to the fact that the leaders are mostly unplayable when compared to the top tier characters anyway…
People feel scammed that they have to pay even more money for something that should be included in the season pass. And they have all the right to feel that way.

Checked and confirmed. Again, you only paid $20-$25 for the seasons pass. Not $80 or $100.
Skyrim for example has hours upon hours of gameplay to it. Most paid $60 when that originally came out. You’re telling me that this game is on par to the amount of time and effort put into that game compared to HW2s $80 for the game AND Season Pass? Absolutely not. And to have a small expansion like this to run for $20 and not to be included for the loyal community season pass holders? What a rip.
These companies are trying to push for more money and less work these days it seems…

20 dollars is a good price, If it was in 2018 then I’d buy it, But like I said, Season passes have always included year one content, Not 6 month content. This game should be no different. Not to mention theyve changed the wording in the season pass among a bunch of other things. Its almost criminal if you ask me.
It’s very bad to keep doing things like that. Making promises they can’t keep (DLC release dates and now changing the SP description) and having to go back on their word isn’t right to the fans. Fool me twice, shame on them…
Edited the double response… Didn’t want to leave that wall

It said 2 new Banished leaders will drop with the expansion (not part of Season Pass). This actually caters to all of the people begging for more Banished leaders to try to level out the number of UNSC options vs Banished options. I view it as a positive, but I guess people don’t like that?
The UE was still a bargain if you look at the individual costs of all of the content produced. It would not be a bargain if you had no interest in getting the additional leaders/units/blitz cards but that was clearly what was stated in the description and what I assumed everyone who bought it wanted.
I know I am not in the same situation as you… I don’t mind paying $20 for additional content for a game I love and I can afford it easily. I just don’t understand the outrage for a company developing and selling an expansion. The UE has been delivered as promised (read the description literally and don’t expect more than what they promised). It sounds like people have higher expectations than what was promised, hence the debate, but they delivered the minimum of what they promised. Honestly, you will run into that a lot in the real world, any contract should be written so that it outlines exactly what is expected to be delivered, not any more and not any less. They have lived up to what they promised. Not sure how a company can be at fault for that, but that is my opinion, and clearly I am in the minority (although I deal with contracts for a living). This should be an exciting announcement, and there is a lot of misguided rage on this thread. I will go back to lurking.

“Should be included in the season pass” according to who? This is where people have it twisted. Why do people that feel this way think that they deserve the right to determine what is included? (before saying "blah blah blah they changed the language blah blah blah, read on and below I’ll tell you why that doesn’t matter either.)
Sure “they have all the right to feel that way”, I get that…
BUT so do the people that DON’T feel scammed and believe that they are getting exactly what they paid for.
Hypocrisy at it’s finest. You say the people that are mad “have all the right to feel that way” while responding in such a manner that implies the other side of the argument does not have the right to feel that way?
I believe 343 IS delivering what was communicated originally in it’s season pass. The only disillusion of merit naysayers can argue is that the language changed from “expansion” to “missions”… Which doesn’t hold any weight either because it’s all a matter of opinion/perspective as to what people THINK the difference between the two terms are.
> 2535409067250374;357:
> It’s very bad to keep doing things like that. Making promises they can’t keep (DLC release dates and now changing the SP description) and having to go back on their word isn’t right to the fans. Fool me twice, shame on them…
What promises??? They gave target dates for DLC release dates… They didn’t say “We promise to have it out on this date.”… Target is a goal. A goal is not a promise.
They changed the description from “expansion” to “missions”… Again the difference between these two terms is a matter of opinion… You might think an expansion is “more than 2 missions” whereas my opinion is that it’s not a “defined” term. Meaning it’s pretty open ended and could be a lot or a little…
