I’d say the campaign missions that are coming with the season pass will be out before ATN, it was massive mistake not to show them at E3 though.
That is 7 leaders which together would of costed $35. How much did you pay for SP? $20 on ULT Edition, and $25 standard; that is a $15 save for many of us. Not to mention we are getting a mini-campaign which would probably be $5-$10 w/o the Season pass. We saved about $20-$25 on this game through the Season Pass, maybe even more.
The idea that blits also ruined you… That was your own damn fault. They didn’t ask you to buy these blits cards, and I never even fealt pressured to get them to win. I got so many packs that I felt fine with all I have and had no need to buy packs. BUYING BLITZ PACKS ARE YOUR OWN DOWNFALL, NOT 343I FAULT THAT YOU SPENT MORE THAN YOU NEEDED TO.
Lastly, how is paying $20 for a large campaign edition with cutscenes, along with a new gamemode, with a new enemy race, along with TWO new leaders a bad thing? It’s not, either pay the money or don’t, or you can spend $20 on a CoD DLC pack that gives you FOUR Multiplayer maps, see how far that gets you.

I’ll list this for the third time now in reply to you:
The season pass explicitly stated he would get the content that he wanted, for the price of the content individually. $20 for Ultimate Edition vs. $20 for ATN. The difference is he could buy them separately, or he could buy it in a bundle with a bunch of other stuff thrown in basically free. It really doesn’t sound like a bad decision at all and I’m not even remotely sure how one could even attempt to spin it that way.
I beg you to construct a logical argument as to why he should not have bought the Ultimate Edition for the same price as ATN DLC when it also said he would be getting the HW: DE, additional leaders, updates for more than six months and the expansion.

Season pass is $30 separately, but you can’t be bothered to read I guess. We were promised more than just leaders in the season pass, but again, who needs reading amirite?
Also saying the leaders are worth $6 and are a total value of $35 varies by user. Not all of us csre about 7 whole leaders for a niche RTS game we like it because it’s Halo though and we wanted more story, which the season pass promised an expansion of and then changed it to missions instead without a lot of us knowing. Now the season pass holders are left with a bunch of leaders and we get just 2 campaign missions and the campaign DLC we all expected is revealed to us as completely separate and $20.
But you didn’t understand that since you seem incapable of reading and comprehending all the posts we’ve already put out.
How about I do you one better? I buy the Witcher 3’s season pass for $25 and get over 40 hours of new content, an entire new region to explore and new questlines, armor, weapons you name it. Better yet I actually get all the DLC in the game as part of the season pass and shocker the Witcher 3 has no microtransactions. In fact all the DLC in the Witcher 3 that isn’t part of the season pass is free. Please tell me how mindlessly shilling and blaming consumers for a company’s shady practices is our fault. If you’re asking for a logical argument, here you go:
The user said he never plays multiplayer, and has no interest in it. To me that shows he didn’t really care that he got leaders for a deal. To go off of your previous burger and fries analogy, that’s like me paying 5 dollars for burgers and fries but not wanting and not eating my fries, I could have and probably should have just gotten the burger. - If the user wanted Halo Wars DE, that already costs 20 dollars, so he doesn’t really have much to complain about he basically is purchasing HWDE with two bonus missions for HW2. - Grim said that ATN was never intended to be part of the season pass, so attaching a 20 dollar price tag to Operation Spearbreaker is speculation. My statements about purchasing DLC separate rather than the season pass are only directed at people that said they have no interest in multiplayer. If someone is kind of interested in multiplayer and campaign then the season pass would be a reasonable purchase.

The whole “I didn’t want all the leaders” is the disadvantage of purchasing a season pass. You may not want all the DLC, that’s the inherent risk of purchasing it so I don’t really feel like that is a valid argument when gauging the monetary value of the season pass.
That said CD Project Red are the paragons in the gaming industry. Every publisher should strive to be like them. That said not every developer has the benefit of being their own publisher.
Please lets continue our philosophy class. What are all these nonsense comments? Let me brake the problem or dishonesty in a few words down to you so you understand that also with your horizon:
Season Pass was designed from the beginning to bring extra content for the campaign. THERE WAS NEVER EVER MENTIONED that another content is coming which is NOT covered BY THE SEASON PASS.
Now they release new content, which also Season Pass Holders who already have paid 20-30$ extra to the regular game price, have to pay in full.

That’s logical to you? He could get free content that perhaps he could use later or he could pay the same price without the free content. In the mind of Breezy it’s logical to spend the same amount of money for the same exact thing, just without all the extra content added in. I really don’t know what to say. - The explaining this same thing has become pretty stale. The. Money. Or. What. You. Consider. To. Be. Worth. It. Is. Not. The. Issue. The issue is that he, myself and many others purchased an expansion for the campaign based on a sales description for the season pass in addition to multiplayer leaders (which could be used in offline modes btw) and updates spanning over 6 months, as well as HW:DE. I can’t fathom how this has been going over your head. - That’s cute, but when I purchased the Ultimate Edition I was informed hat I would be receiving a campaign expansion which, according to 343i, Awaken The Nightmare is, but two campaign missions are not. That’s according to 343i and not me by the way. In fact, the changing of the description basically confirms that.Your statement regardless of who it is directed towards is nonsensical when 343i gave them the information to make an informed decision on their purchase and then without the purchasers knowledge decided to change the description of what they bought. The problem with that is we purchased the original season pass bundle with a campaign expansion (since it was purchased prior to the change) and not the post-change bundle with two missions tossed in instead.
I’ll give you a better example: When my dad purchased our last house, he signed a contract for the house AND all of the furniture in the house. After the house was purchased and therefore the contract fulfilled the owners and real estate company decided not to give the furniture with the house. I’m sure you can imagine there was a bit of an issue. It’s the same exact thing. We were told what we’d be purchasing with a bundle. We “signed” and spent our money thereby fulfilling our end of the contract. 343i knowingly or not decided to be sneaky and decided not to uphold their end of the contract.

Ultimate Edition costs $80. If you bought the season pass separately, that’s on you - You don’t need to buy Blitz packs, Blitz is not the only game mode in the game and they give you plenty of ways to get Blitz packs by playing the game

They never mentioned that it’d cover all DLC, it stated 6 months and more. That was too vague and people expected the season pass to cover all content then, when it was never stated. The season pass for some games covers all content and for others some content, season pass doesn’t equal all content. I don’t like having to read a description very carefully and look for specific wording to make my decision but that’s just the way it is, it should be easy for the consumer to know
The season pass description was changed before the game launched to say extra missions which it will fulfill with the two coming out, even calling that an expansion would be technically true even though you’d expect more content. Calling it an expansion was probably dropped to differentiate it from ATM.
NEVER preorder a game or DLC, wait until it’s out to make your decision. Buying a season pass just for one specific piece of content will nearly always turn out more expensive than buying it separate anyway. If you wanted it just for story DLC wait until the DLC is out and then decide if you want to buy it separate or the season pass.

Campaign missions is Campaign DLC; Season Pass covered what was promised. I knew you were promised more than just leaders which you are getting.
Simply don’t buy the expansion maybe? Might save yourself the headache.

Not all of us csre about 7 whole leaders for a niche RTS game we like it because it’s Halo though and we wanted more story, which the season pass promised an expansion of and then changed it to missions instead without a lot of us knowing.

Please go ahead I am genuinely interested.

I don’t mind additional leaders. What i take issue with is that the season pass is predominantly leaders and it is not what was advertised.
We’ve been going back and forth like this for pages now. When you promise a campaign expansion and give me 7 leaders instead and just 2 campaign missions in a game that had 6 leaders to start with and is 3v3 max it is just unnecessary to shove in so many new leaders, not to mention basically false advertising on the part of the season pass description. It really honestly should have been called the Leader pass at this point since it has featured, to this point only leaders and will wrap up by releasing almost entirely leaders.

Not to mention we are getting a mini-campaign which would probably be $5-$10 w/o the Season pass. We saved about $20-$25 on this game through the Season Pass, maybe even more.

> > >

I’m not going to buy it because I’m not about to encourage 343 doing this -Yoink- repeatedly. Hell I’ve been fed up with 343 for a while now, but this is my line.
Unlike most people I’ll vote with my wallet and walk away from the series rather than buy the stupid DLC which is what most boneheads will do anyway, but just because I’m not buying it doesn’t mean I’m not going to stop pointing out how anti-consumer this is.

Six leaders that cost $5 each already makes the season pass and Ultimate Edition a huge bargain deal but we’re still getting two more campaign missions.

I also really want to hear more about Spearbreaker. All we know is that it’s two missions, in the season pass, and (judging from the name) from the UNSC prospective. We know more about this expansion than something announced and teased to be coming for season pass holders months again.

You got ripped off my friend because I believe the ultimate edition was $80… Also, they’ve only made $20 from you paying for the seasons pass… $60 for the game and $20 for the seasons pass.
Since when do they “expect” you to buy blitz packs? When you purchased the game, did 343 dial you up and say “we expect you to buy blitz packs”? I doubt it.

except they expected everyone to buy blitz packs otherwise they wouldn’t have put them in the game. there would be no other reason to put them in the game then.
