There are 2 missions being added as part of the season pass, this is completely separate and not included.
If they would have been very clear about this no one had bought the season pass in the first place. Who cares about new leader with a few new abilities?
I have bought the season pass in the believe that we ll get a campaign extension a new campaign dlc etc on the bases of the season pass and they have left us in the believe of it.
They should go and **** them****.
I still don’t see how the development of this game was even justified… after Reach… after H4, MCC, and H5, the masses just aren’t as excited about Halo anymore… MAIN LINE Halo. Then someone thinks it’s a good idea to do a big, breakaway game in a niche genre? On a CONSOLE? Hear me out…
It’s apparent to me that HW2 isn’t selling well, if they’re going to pull a move like this… and really, with the trend Halo is on and overall perceptions on the series in recent years, who couldn’t have seen it coming?
It just doesn’t make sense… they’re trying to do way too much with Halo these days. Just get it back to basics, invest in the product that put the series on the map and became a cultural phenomenon… do it right. Enough of the selective hearing/feedback. It’s still happening.
When you have a trend of less people buying into the franchise and dwindling brand perceptions, you can’t really expect something like this to take off. I just don’t get it… If you like the game, that’s just wonderful… but the reality is, not many people are buying into it.
Just looked up the sales figures… 150K units first week, for HALO? Yikes…

This is currently absolutely not helping and also is not even closely related to what is being discussed here.
Personally I think there is enough content to warrant it not being included. It adds a new enemy, new game modes, a new campaign, new cinematics and unlike the main campaign looks like it has a pretty clear premise. If the Flood get out its bad for the galaxy; its an actual tangible threat with something at stake. £15 isn’t too bad for that.
The season pass still includes a ton of new commanders and will have some extra missions. That seems pretty good to me.

Because Halo Wars has a cult following. Unfortunately, 343 and CA changed a hell of a lot of the game play and made it a fast paced, pump out a bunch of units who seem to die quickly no matter what RTS.
But this about 343 screwing early adopters and season pass holders.

When it was advertised originally the season pass said it would include a campaign expansion.
A lot of people didn’t buy into the season pass expecting a ton of leaders. Many, myself included bought in for the promise of more campaign stuff which 343 is now dancing away from if not outright backing out of.

Exactly!
Edit;
Nevermind, you know about that. Saw an earlier post.

No that’s not my only counter point. I just don’t feel like going into this with someone else. It’s a point that won’t be proven one way or the other. I just don’t enjoy when someone tries to speak on my behalf when they are obviously incorrect.
If you read through several of these threads, you’ll see that you obviously don’t speak for “Everyone except Rarr” too…

How is it not? How much longer is this community going to play “pretend” and act like things are ok? 343 pulled some shady practices once again… Why is that? Because of the reasons I described… they’re not making the money. HW2 is already $30 at retailers, I’ve seen…
How is calling 343 on their actions “not” a good thing? It’s the only way Halo is going to get any better. Halo is slowly being run into the ground and we’re just going to keep enabling it? I’m not…

Wow 2 missions
if they had said that earlier and told us ‘hey the full campaign dlc is its own thing pre-order that instead if your interested’ it would be fine. Some of us have bills to pay and not alot of money to spend on games so feel the burn with stuff like this

I never lumped you in with anyone to begin with lol. Maybe if you didn’t look for things to get triggered off of you’d have realized that me saying people tend to expect something is not actually me saying everybody expects more. It’s a very simple thing especially since this thread and the thread on the subreddit have already swelled with outrage over just what I said. They expect more than 2 campaign missions for the campaign expansion and not something completely separate.
Is that everyone? No, but I didn’t say everyone I said people. I didn’t lump anyone in particular into “people” though. It’s a general term for the general population who seems pretty upset at this info; however, you placed yourself into this group after reading what I said and then flew off the handle lol when you clearly aren’t in that group. You seem more than happy to support 343’s consumer hostile stance despite the fact that you are a consumer.
Don’t blame me for anything when you associate yourself with my post freely.

Oh I’m just as pissed as you. I was just clarifying. This all also coupd have been avoided if they made the ultimate edition/season pass a little more expensive and then they could’ve included it,
But full price for everyone when no one knew it wouldn’t be a part of the season pass outsude a community update saying “lol the campaign expansion is two missiond and a paid DLC”

Yeah i bought the Ultimate edition expecting to get everything i wish that had been made clear before i got it since i dont care for dlc leaders and only got said edition for the campaign
Idgi they are giving us everything the said they would they never said this would be part of the season pass and it makes sense it’s separate considering how huge it is. If you don’t want it then don’t buy it. Y’all just being spoiled acting so childish for not getting everything you want. Literally no one else cares if you buy it or not and considering a lot of us will then butt out

When I bought the season pass with my preorder it stated it included a campaign expansion. That segment has since been redacted. So I paid for something they decided not to give me. That’s what people are pissed about.

2-campaign mission. No matter how YOU interpret it it’s technically an expansion so bleh boo hoo yoo
343 finally bring back the be loved flood everyone has been asking about. But yall can’t support 343 with 20 Bucks for it.
I think it looks bad as I’m so excited. 343 can have my 20 bucks. They are really out doing themselves lately and I Wana support it.

Yea if you split hairs. The entire second part of your post is good enough because you literally can’t make an argument for it outside of this huge stretch. We were told an expansion and 2 missions does not an expansion make, especially when we were originally supposed to get more by the description of the season pass that has since changed to fit 343’s new narrative.

Oh hey look a blind fanboy who can’t be bothered to read any one of the multiple posts as to why people are actually upset. 343 must love you, oh wait it’s a faceless company with no persona!
