AtLAS understanding

How on earth are you supposed to use ATLAS? I dont understand how it is useful? Here are my 2 reason for not understanding the purpose of it

  1. The map is too big for full screen (unless your using a tablet). Meaning that zoomed all the way out, you still cannot see the whole map. You have to scroll to see certain parts of the map.

  2. How can you effectively play and look at ATLAS on your phone? I mean all it really shows you is where you other teammates are in real time. And you already can see where your teammates are just by looking for their indicator on your TV screen. Maybe I just don’t understand how to use it or something. I’m really just not seeing the benefit to having it.

Don’t get me wrong, I think its fantastic that technology allows us to do something like this. I mean, real time positions of you and your teammates while you are currently playing the game…that’s pretty cool. I just don’t see it as being very usefull

Yeah it only really seems to approach usefulness if you already have an ipad, a good stand for it and a coffee table to put it on while you game.

Of course there is always rubber banding your phone to your arm, and using it as a tacpad like the spartans do :3

We adjusted the zoom settings for maps so you can see the entire map on the screen of your phone. The update is live, so check it out and let us know what you think!
