Or if it was tethered to your xbox, it would appear on screen…

That’s a bit way too much of an advantage, I think.
I’m still for the Orbital Drop Jelly Donuts, though.
I wonder if people where not disapointed before? I didn’t expect it to be on the Iphone and the Android. I’m ok with paying 5 dollars as we are not using the windows phone 7. It will be fun.

“KA FIVE, HELP ME! He’s got rockets! Look at your ATLAS, grab the sniper!”
“K. One sec.”
-Taps screen above my head to get a donut, my team rage quits-

Replace donuts with Mountain Dew, repaint for CoD, and that app will sell millions.

Thats what i was going to do. I’ll get it on my tablet though.
Set the tablet up so im using my peripheral vision to see it and concentrate on the screen.

“With Matchmaking games, ATLAS respects the ranked nature of gameplay by only showing weapon and vehicle spawn locations,” 343 said in a new blog post. “But with Custom Multiplayer games, ATLAS takes a more no-holds-bared approach by showing the near-real-time location of power weapons and vehicles on the map. So, if someone picks up a Rocket Launcher and later drops it, you will see the new location for that particular weapon. You will also be able to see vehicles moving around along with you or your teammates!”

The only thing that it can remotely be applied to is The Arena.
Custom games are more competitive than most of matchmaking.
Had the game been structured into Ranked and Social playlists then not only would the general community be more happy and streamline the hoppers but the app would then work in the social playlists and 343 would have made much more money.

Exactly. Way to take it completely out of context. Are there ranks in Reach? Yes. Is it the old ranking system you so desire? No. They’re just delineating between online MM play and customs online play. It’s not that hard of a concept to grasp.
I just don’t think it would really help that much. We all know the maps like the back of our hands, the weapon drops is a nice touch but its not enough to justify spending even more money on the Halo franchise. Honestly they should just make the app completely free to drive people back to playing Reach, rather than using it to promote WinPhone7.
