ATENTION:UNABLE TO CONNECT TO HALO 5 LOBBY SERVICE

Hey! i have had a problem with playing halo 5 since march 2017…now its april 2017. the problem starts right away wether it is trying to play multiplayer, forge or coop. Campaign is playable… when i do want to use forge, multiplayer or coop an error occurs: unable to connect to halo 5 guardians lobby service… so basicly i cannot play the most important parts of the game… Now here is the part where it gets tricky… I can join the lobby services ONLY if somebody invites me. and i can never be the leader of any party: if anybody make me the leader in a fireteam: the leaderrole jumps to another player…

Does anybody have a soloution for this? It would be MUCH APPRICIATED!

Yeah man I have the same f***ing problem, can’t believe I paid for a game I can’t play… Incredibly bad of them!!!

Yeee bro i feel ya!!! they better find a solution to this problem! Ive been a loyal halo fan since 2005!!and this is what i get back!!! unbelivable!!! how long have you had this problem?

Crappy bulls**t that’s what it is! I were playing and raging the battlefield on Warzone when I suddenly lost connection… This was 3-4 weeks ago and I’ve been full of hate since… We’re paying them to fix it but they’re not doing sh*t!!

Yee tell me about it!!! same happened to me! The thing is : it is only halo 5 the problem is on!! i tested halo mcc and it works!! From my perspective it looks like h5 servers are damaged in some ways… 343 is it any way you can fix this? alot of players would be greatful for it!!

I can’t play either. I tried turning my Xbox off and on but it didn’t do any thing.

THANK YOu so much for an answer!! I will ofcourse try! Ill update you on the issue! Do you have any fixes? any other things we should try? btw is it possible to change gamertag for free without paying?

Tengo el Mismo Problema, puedo Solamente puedo jugar en modo historia pero no en modo multijugador, ni en zona de guerra, exijo una solucion pues he pagado por mi memberia xbox live y por el juego

So for sure: giving my xbox acc to another xbox does work!! i live in poland and it did not work here… gave it to my brother in norway… it did work… he could play all modes he wanted with my account!!

So I tried it on my friends Xbox one as well, he lives in Sweden and it worked, haven’t tried to change gamertag tho, what’s the next step now?

I suspect that my internet provider is the problem and not halo 5 guys! some kind of filter or blockade of halo 5…Do you have any idea 343?

Alright guys I’ve tried so many things right now and it’s really frustrating that it’s not working… Every time I want to play h5 I get sad because I know I can’t connect… I get “can’t access h5 services” every frickin’ time!
So far I’ve tried:

  • logging into my account on a friends Xbox one on a different network (worked fine)
  • logging into my account on my brothers Xbox one but connected to my router (didn’t work)
  • connect my Xbox one to my cell network and try to play halo5 with my own Xbox one (worked fine)
    So as a conclusion I suspect that my router is somehow blocking my access to h5 services, I’ve also tried to disable the firewall on my router but it didn’t work… Any ideas of what to do next? I were thinking of port forwarding but I don’t know about that since my brother is also using the network with his Xbox one and I’ve heard that doing so will cause problems etc. So ideas?

Guys!!! i fixed my problem!!! the problem was my internet router blocking the game somehow… I just told my internet guy what was the problem and he knew what to do… turned off ipv6…

Hey guys. So I havnt played halo 5 for a while and today my misses said… can you show me how to play a shooting game… evey dudes dream aye haha naturally I picked halo5 and behold… unable to connect to the lobby servers. Can’t even log into any other game types. What can I do?

Hard reset your xbox. If that fails unplug your router. Then plug it back in.Also sometimes the Xbox servers go down so it might not be your fault all the time. I that doesn’t work comment back.

Hello. I changed my gamertag and now Halo 5 won’t let me into any community services like multiplayer. It gives the same error as other posts: unable to connect to the Halo 5 Guardians Lobby service. I gave my Xbox time to sync, restarted the console, and signed out and back in. How long does Xbox live take to sync all of my Halo 5 data? What else do I need to do to get back into multiplayer? Please help!
