I play Halo 4, cause I like Halo.
While I do get some WTF moments, I just play another playlist to change things up a bit or I go play another Halo for a little while, then usually back to Halo 4.
If you’re a Halo fan, prove it by staying with Halo.

@op
-when the dev leaves out Theater mode for Campaign
-when the dev stops doing A Different Way to Campaign
-when the dev stops giving Campaign easter egg hints
-when the dev does not learn from their mistakes (Halo: Anniversary skulls) and takes the easy way out (same skull set) instead of introducing new skulls
-when the dev put resources into a side game that can only be played in select few platforms that most people probably haven’t even tried out
-when that side game brings back a lot of past weapons but neglects to introduce new ones
I’m so sick of these doomsayers complaining about ever little thing like it’s the end of the world. I’m not 100% satisfied with Halo 4 either, but it’s nothing to make me quit the game over. Plus, 343i has made some great improvements (namely the Weapon Tuning update) that have helped to make the game more enjoyable.
…and in just one more day (the suspense is killing me) we get some awesome new DLC that gives two new maps (including a returning Halo 3 favorites) and lots of other content we’ve been begging for; three new armor mods, lots of weapon and armor skins, and the two classic armor sets we wanted (Mark V and ODST).
I’m not leaving Halo 4 until Halo 5 comes out. Same as always.
I threw in the towel for the most part when I realized that the game had a lot more negatives than positives and that the only way that most of the negatives would disappear would be a sequel to halo 4.

You realize they didn’t have a studio when they made the game right…

So I should just adapt, like I forced myself to do with Reach? And if I don’t, I’m not a Halo fan? That’s like saying I can only be a fan of a baseball team if I like all the trades and such.
Just because I don’t like some or most of the changes doesn’t mean I’m not a “true” fan. Halo 4 does not feel or play like Halo at all. It doesn’t even look like it when you consider the armor.

Did I specify Halo 4 ? Nope. I said ‘‘Halo’’, could be CE/2/3/ODST/Wars/Reach/CEA/4/SA.

Yeah I don’t like that “logic”. I’m not going to adhere to it. I’m not enjoying Halo 4 any more. I feel like I’ve wasted the money I spent on the season pass because the maps I paid for don’t come up in matchmaking. I don’t like the fact that I can’t get the map specific achievements because the maps don’t come up in matchmaking anymore. MS/343 need to try a hell of a lot harder to impress me and get me to WANT to pay for their map packs/future games now. Want my money? EARN IT.

this.
I am not paying for any DLC for any Halo. Not anymore.
And I am not buying Halo5 until I see some sweet gameplay… and yes, I am a hardcore halo fan.
I threw in the towel when I saw that Halo: Reach had a higher population than Halo 4. No game should ever have its predecessor have a higher population. That truly shows how much 343 screwed up on this game. Much like the OP, I too could post a big list of the negatives, but there is already a forum filled with that
I like the game, and I also enjoy the little things that give the game that halo feeling.
While I might throw in the towel, it’s usually because the idiots come out and ruin the game during certain times of the day, and I’ll just pick up said towel and carry on playing.
Plus, I’m not done with it just yet. I made myself a personal goal to legitimately earn each and every armor piece, and I’m not giving up on that.
