I have a forum post asking about the biggest difference in high and low skill players. What do you consider to be a high rank?
Btw, we are talking arena rank (gold, plat, diamond),not SR (1-152).
Depends on who you ask and what they define as ‘highly’ ranked. I’d say high diamond and up is highly ranked.
I’d say upper Diamond. Of course, my opinion probably doesn’t really mean much, considering that I’ve never gotten past Platinum 2.

Your opinion matters. I wasn’t really paying attention on my thread to what kind of players were responding, but I just wanted to see what most people consider it to be because I didn’t clarify in my other OP.
Depends, high ranked I guesse means Dimond and up but like actually skilled would be only 1800 and up
Anything Diamond or higher in my opinion is better/good.
Although if you’re a newer player and get gold 6/platinum, that isn’t a bad place to be in.
I still have no clue how I got ranked bronze 5. I was playing silvers-golds-platinums.
Also, I have haven’t even gotten to Platinum. I was literally one game away in slayer. I was so triggered.
And honestly, platinum and up is when it officially starts getting serious.

If you want hmu on xbox I would be glad to help you get at least dimond.
I’d say Diamond is the point where you go over the casual/average player. It’s debatable after that but once you’ve past that threshold you get into the highly skilled players
Honestly, you aren’t a ‘high rank’ until you reach Onyx… and even in onyx ranks the skill doesn’t really universally show until you are Onyx 1700 or higher. You are not a skilled player if you are ranking platinum…
Just my opinion though. I am consistently Onyx or Champion every season so I may be biased.

I consider Onyx to be a high rank.
I consider Diamond to be the beginning of high rankers.

Onyx clearly… but the highest echelon is Champion.
High diamond would be the start of the high ranks. Skill wise, I’d say around 1600-1700 onyx is the starting point for higher rated players.

Depends really. I was playing team arena last night. Keep playing against same group. They was getting there 10 games in for rank. And these guys wrecked. They ninja assisn… they wouldnt even try the objective till we almost about to win, then they took over hard.When they was about to win. They would stop trying… They lost every game. There is some crazy good players in the bronze-silver ranks.

Pretty much. Kinda ruins it.
But still on topic. Only thing different from playing in high level ranked games and playing low level. Is low level not every game is with or against highly skilled players.
