At what level do you unlock the perk that lets you curve bullets around corners?

I looked all the BP rewards and I’m not seeing anything that allows guns to shoot around corners? I’m not talking about the bullet magnetism, I’m talking about when your body is 4-5 spartan lengths behind the walls, you get killed and the camera focus on the wall, because your body is so far behind the wall compared to the enemy angle.

Can anyone help me out? I also couldn’t find anything in the shop.

It’s latency.

That’s all there is to it.
Your positioning on the server is different to where you are on your xbox, enemies don’t really see you where you really are because the information sent from your xbox to the server isn’t instant, they download that information, you’re rendered on their xbox, they shoot you, information sent to server etc.

That’s why you can get shot around corners.

In Halo 3 you’d die from bullets not hitting you, in Halo Reach, bullets went through walls to where you were hit. All due to latency.

You’re not going to see it yourself, but, you too are going to appear to shoot fleeing enemies around corners on their screen.

Ah, that makes more sense, I thought it was a game issue. That’s cool that I’ll get to unlock this at some point too. I wonder if there is a tutorial on it…

Dang, never thought 1.2 Gbps down wouldn’t be enough for an online game. I’m guessing they most likely have the same quality servers as the MCC then.

Bandwidth has little to do with that.
Your bandwidth is how much data you can take down in a certain amount of time, but that data is still limited to speed of light and any obstacles that is on that route between you and the server.

Think of it as a road.
Cars on it is your package. A narrow road has low bandwidth, not many cars can go at the same time. Widen the road and you can fit more cars on it.
However, the cars are still limited by the speed limit on the road, so, no matter how wide the road is, the cars can’t go any faster. That applies to the packages of the game containing your information. Package sizes aren’t large, but they can’t go faster than physical limits.

Furthermore, packages doesn’t go straight to the server, they bounce between different servers which send them on.
The further away you are from the host server, the higher your ping / latency will be because the packages to and from you need to travel longer distances, and get delayed when relayed to their destination.

You can easily test this as long as you have a browser.
