I’ve been a Halo fan for a very long time, since the beginning, I’m one of those fans that has been loyal even when many others jumped ship due to a decline in what some would say quality (I’d say attempts at ingenuity). However this Req system is so close to tipping me over the edge, I’m level 80 and since the start of Halo 5 I have been trying to get a Dmr, just one, no gizmos or attachments, just one generic Dmr. I live in Australia and it’s hard enough to find a game of Warzone to play, and when I do though I get put on the opposite team of the EXACT same partied up people EVERY time (I know them by name now). Who then proceed to instantly cap all 3 bases and camp our spawn not even attempting to go for the core, just kills, all the while team mates are dropping out left right and centre. So it gets really annoying trying to accumulate enough points to buy packs (arena doesn’t give much points so I don’t play as often). So this is the last straw, I’m giving this game one last chance, I’m going to gather up 100k req points and open silver packs, if I still don’t get ANY Dmr I’m just not going to play anymore. So tell me, what level did you get your Dmr at? Am I just over reacting? I just think that the fact that it’s based on luck and not skill/level is the single biggest mistake of the game (at least in my opinion).
Got mine at roughly 73. How far are you with silver packs and rares/uncommons and the like.
DMR’s are scarce. It takes a while. Be patient, and you will be rewarded.
Since the DMR is granted based on RNG, it could very well be that you don’t start getting DMRs until you last few Silver Packs. There is no way to tell, and no way to influence getting DMRs earlier. Most of the DMRs I’ve unlocked came towards the end of my Silver Pack buying.
If you still have many silver packs left to open before moving on to Gold Packs, then it’s possible you won’t be getting a DMR anytime soon. But it is guaranteed that eventually you will get a DMR. You just have to keep playing. Quit and you guarantee that you’ll never get a DMR.
Got my first one that wasn’t from a code at around rank 12, but I could rarely use it bacause I never really got to a high enough req level. Now I’m rank 65 and have 5. You should get one soon. Just hang in there and it’ll be worth it.
I got my first DMR around SR55, but it required a REQ level of 8 to use. I finally got the basic DMR at SR98, which is just a glaring example of poor game design.

It’s based on luck. None of the unlocked are based on level, just rarity, chance, and opening the proper req pack. You do get a DMR after a while but it’s by chance so keep up the grind, you have even more reqs nowadays to unlock
Wow, you have it bad. I think I was around level 40 or 50 when I got mine.
I didn’t get my first DMR until SR69, and as an added kicker it requires a REQ level of 8. And since then I haven’t pulled another one.

But I got a Bayonet dmr on launch day.
From a req bundle pack or something.
Its level 8 and I didn’t get to use it much.
And first armor unlocked from reqs was the legendary venator with all the white lines.
It’s random. I’ve seen people getting DMR’s at any anything from rank 15 to nearly 100+
Same thing with the Halo 2 BR. The whole REQ farming is just luck based.
I have not acquired a DMR yet, but judging by your post, I will not have much fun getting it.
I can’t remember specifically but I know it was between 68-73 for my first DMR
I got mine at SR46, I got lucky twice as it was the most basic DMR takes a Level 6 to use. I now have 3, One is a level 7 and the other is an 8
