At war with the covenant?

so in halo 4 is humanity at war with the covenant again? or is it a separate rogue branch of the covenant? i know their called the storm covenant so are these guys different? because there seems to be a lot of them for one rogue unit

Covenant are in a civil war. The arbiter teaches peace, but the ones who still believe in the prophecy are the ones you fight in halo 4. Check out the wikipedia, i believe it’s on there.

I really hope that the Arbiter comes back, he was a pretty cool guy, voiced by Keith Davids.

Like the name implies, the Covenant are a collection of races.

They are in civil war at the moment.

And certain factions are going up against the UNSC.

I am loving the books. It has been a long time since I took the time to sit down and read. The flood was hard to get through (as it was re-reading halo CE pretty much) but the side stories are what made it amazing.

The Arbiter is on Earth, but we don’t see him even once during Halo 4.

However, if you watch the trailer for Episode 4 of Spartan Ops, it introduces a character known as the Didact’s Hand, who is an Elite. Apparently Spartan Ops is going to introduce quite a few new characters into the game between now and the release of Halo 5.

i thought at the end of halo 3 he and ship master rtas vadum left for thier home planet. and yah the one thing that kinda annoyed me is you dont get to see everyones reaction to john returning such as halsey and the arbiter
