At this point 343 might as well make a battle royale out of the campaign map

For one I think the campagin map would be perfect for it.

Also I think call of duty got things right when it came to their stuff. They have a free to play experience AND paid multiplayer. This gets people to play a free experience while also giving people who bought the game full multiplayer. I feel like multiplayer should switch to become paid but I also know that if that happens free players would be left out and I think a battle royale could be the perfect free to play experience

Since 343 got the actual Halo formula right with what we’ve gotten (imo), I think it would be great for us top get a BR mode in the future.

I’m not going to be upset if we don’t get one, but I’m not going to sit here and pretend BR games can’t be fun sometimes either.

The campaign map would be an EXCELLENT BR experience I bet. It’s got everything you need. Verticality, landmarks, open and cluttered movement lanes, gaps with bridges for choke points. The sandbox would be killer too

I think the store would be less polorizing if it was the standard way that people handle the store. Call of duty has it’s store but I don’t mind because battle royale is a big enough experience on its own and when I pay for multiplayer I get some stuff with it. I think having both a paid and free multiplayer is a good way to go because then hardcore fans would feel like they are getting value with their product and the free to play players will have something to play

I never understood the appeal of Battle Royale games. You spend 99% of the time running around finding weapons, and only 1% of the time actually in Battle.

Yes and players hate that there is no player collision. A staple of Halo gameplay. We don’t need or want Battle Royale. Rather than crap no one asked for, how about Legacy Weapons, legacy maps, better main menu UI, better physics, better customization options, more game modes like multiteam, and doubles. That’s what they should be focusing on bringing Infinite up to Speed.

Can’t even customize our own emblems. Battle Royale shouldn’t even be a thought with how messy the game is right now with it’-Yoink!- detection and kill registration. We got Big Team Battle. A constant, back and forth fight that when you die? You spawn in that same match and go again.

Thats because you’re playing it wrong. I engage with someone every 3 to 5 mins because I actively go out and find people and when the circle gets closer it becomes more fast paced as you play. It’s your choice if you want to camp for the whole game but that’s the beauty of it you could play any way you want.

I just say no to Zoomers - get out there Satan!

Halo never needed Sprint either but here we are.

Trust me what your saying isn’t an argument. Just because it wasn’t in halo before doesn’t mean it could be now. Plus it’s been tried in halo 5. It’s pretty fun actually

Also none of that is coming. They haven’t even mentioned any of that with hard dates so right now your just asking for things. As it sits there is enough playlists already. Some of them just needs to be ranked. Any more playlists and the pool gets diluted

Halo 5…the second Halo game 343 made that alot of people didn’t like? Um …sure…use that as a flex. Anyway, Sprint was implemented in Halo 2 and was cut, it wasn’t trying to copy other shooters. Implementing a Battle Royale, is an attempt to be a trend follower. Mind you it took 3 Halo games for Sprint to be done right to not break the formula.

Their base game is a mess, putting that idea out there is doing no one any favors. We already have this nonsense battle pass in Halo, I think that’s more than enough.

I’m literally using the one part of Halo 5 that was universally beloved. And that was forge. Halo 5s forge was able to create a battle royale. It wasn’t ideal but it was done and it proved that battle royale could work for Halo if there was a dedicated mode for it

Wether it was cut or not. It wasn’t needed because the game did just fine.

Oh really? So the store isn’t a trend follower? There’s litterally pictures of coins when you buy credits to buy items in the store. That’s ripped out of other pay models. So spare me on that trend thing

It’s a mess because they didn’t put things in the right place. The game play is fine as a shooter game. But the design choices and layout of how everything released is horrible.

Ideas are a good thing regaurdless if you agree with them or not. That’s what this forum is for

I literally just said it was bad enough that we have this battle pass nonsense…which requires the store…does it not? So no I won’t spare you cause now since I have to really be specific, it’s bad enough it’s free to play, it’s horrible enough we have a battle pass store and it’s horrible enough we can’t even freely customize Color on our Spartans at the very least.

They already followed to many trends for you to make that argument. In some way or form they are going to follow a trend. And you made a point that they shouldn’t but they always will

What would be nice if they went against the grain and released a carbon copy of Halo 2. Just imagine the press it would get.

“Halo returns to classic Halo in full”

I think it would be a success.

Everything from the exact gameplay. To the ranking.

HAlo infinite doesn’t need a battle royale at all

Just so they can give ARs only and no skill weapons nah I’m good lol.

Everyone should start with only the pistol like other battle royales do and it works just fine. Hot drop like last pods and pick up every other type of weapon on the field and I would consider the BR to be a power weapon and placed as such and is that rare

I don’t see why not. It would just be an extra slot on the screen to click

There’s a nice adrenaline rush when you get near the end, plus you could always hot drop to get fights right away which was sweet because if you won the early hot drop you often had really good gear just from looting the other players. PUBG near launch was a fun time as the formula was pure and players were new to it. Now it’s too easy to revive people in other BRs and people have gotten too good at them so they don’t play the same anymore.
