Congratulations on conquering Legendary difficulty, Green Dragon. Personally, I still have several missions to complete on Legendary, namely The Library and Keyes. There are indeed several challenging encounters within the campaign, which require significant ingenuity and tactfulness to overcome. Again, well done on your success.

Thanks. I managed to go from Silent Cartographer to the end in one day, because I really wanted to finish. The Library and. Keyes are indeed challenging, even with Bandsnna, but so worth it to be finished with. -Yoink!- luck in your Legendary runthrough, friend.
Legendary is challenging, but so much fun. The combat becomes infinitely more awesome when you ratchet the difficulty up, in all the Halo games. When I die I never really felt cheated; it’s that good.
Standard gameplay is only the beginning. Are you ready to take the next step?
The next step is weapon combos. In CE, any weapon combo can work. That means magnum and needler, rocket launcher and assault rifle, needler and plasma rifle, etc. The plasma pistol doesn’t suck at all in CE so plasma pistol overcharges aren’t the only thing it’s good for.
Find a good weapon combo that you like and practice it until you have mastered it.
well you completed the easiest legendary halo game. halo ce legendary is not hard and takes no skill.
It gets easier after the first run.
> well you completed the easiest legendary halo game. halo ce legendary is not hard and takes no skill.
I agree, i found Halo 2 and Halo Reach to be far more difficult than CE on legendary.
Congrats on finishing halo 1 legendary to me it was my first time and a great experience that I loved. But I must say halo 2 is the hardest!
I beat legendary a while ago but good job. I am now on Two Betrayals LASO minus iron. I am a firm believer that this is impossible, infinite rocket launcher or no. Especially when you checkpoint is next to a bunch of infection forms with your shields down at yellow health -_-.
Congrats. Two Betrayals was the worst, in my opinion.

Unless you don’t cheat and complete the fights. If we are talking about how things usually go, Reach is one of the easiest campaigns just because you can skip most combat situations easily. Halo 2 is the hardest hands down, tricks or not, though.
01 - The Maw (I Hate This Level on Legendary, Before and Toward The Warthog Run, I Never Thought That The Flood Could Be a Pain In The Asteroid)
02 - Two Betrayals (The Only Thing I Hate About This Level Are Those Rocket Wielding Combat Form Flood Types)
03 - The Library (I Do Not Think That This Level Is Bad Except That Like The Level The Pillar of Autumn, You Can Get Trapped Against a Wall The First Time You Play Halo on Campaign Mode)
04 - The Pillar of Autumn (This Is In Here Because of an Observation I Made With This Level and The Library)

Cheat? Cheat how? Just kidding.
I agree @ Halo 2 on Legendary being the hardest.

did halo Reach legendary alone in 2 days.
you sir, are very bad at halo
I completed the original game on legendary when I was 8 years back in 2002.It really isnt THAT hard.
Now you have to beat it without having unlimited ammo and grenades =P that is cheating.
legendary campagins
halo reach: many hunters
halo ce: easy
halo 2: angry brutes and sniping jackls
halo 3scarabs everywhere and brute chieftans
halo 3 odst:smg that runs out of ammo to fast
all halos on legendary are easy except halo 2 and i had trouble with exodus on reach

Pfft, beat it on my first walkthrough. Eazy!

Blasphemy!!!
CE Legendary may not be overly hard but it does take skill. Take out the Covie weapons and it becomes like Marathon. Play stealthy and it becomes a hassle to avoid detection. T&R is a stealth mission. One must snipe and assassinate to truly conquer the level. Or try melee only, grenades only, pacifist run. Speedrunning.
Have you ever tried any of these:
?
It’s not so easy to pull this stuff off.
Have you tried assassinating Goldies right when they berserk? It’s possible. Definitely possible. I’ve managed it countless times.

If you are saying Reach takes more skill, I really, really disagree.
H2 pits the player against hordes of Covies (literally, on Outskirts and Metropolis), but it’s tolerable since one can still get past it, despite the BR and plasma pistol being the only utility weapons for several combat scenarios. Dual wielding adds a lot of options. Grenades don’t feel underpowered.
Now Reach on the other hand forces the player to resort to the DMR, which is only for utility, not for enjoyment. Bloom kills the fun. Plasma pistol is so badly nerfed (yet buffed for Jackals and Grunts) that only it’s normal shots are useful. Plasma rifle just isn’t that powerful (although I like it’s spread and how it overheats less like in CE). Needler just sucks now (what made it fun was taking down multiple Elites with the needler while going from cover to cover). Needle Rifle (other than the plasma rifle) is probably the only weapon that I actually enjoyed using in Reach.
And don’t get me started on the AI. That’s where I demonstrate how Reach requires less skill than CE because it pits you against damage sponge semi-omniscient op monsters rather than the benign and well balanced but deceptive and extraordinary AI of CE.
The difference is fairness. CE is fair. The AI are slower, their animations are more realistic. Damage is tolerable. And the only cheapness Elites have is: longer melee range. But even the player had that.
In H2, there was some cheapness. Elites could do 1 hit melee kills. But that is balanced by how you could melee them to death (meleeing them made them stumble). Ultra Elites were damage sponges yes but they could still be defeated by the noob combo. And there were plenty of opportunities to manipulate them.
But in Reach, cheapness is so high I can’t even elaborate on the scope of it. Damage sponges are everywhere. Enemies have way more advantages than the player. Allies don’t help at all.
