2 scenarios that, honestly, would only make sense to someone who’s brain-dead:

CSR 30 in SWAT, win 2 games going very positive and winning by a lot, then barely lose 1 game. now my CSR is a 27. so winning 2 counts for absolutely nothing but losing 1 game demotes me 3 ranks?!

CSR 40 in BTB, Win a game, drop down to CSR 38. I guess CSR is like golf, lowest score is best because obviously winning drops the ranks lower. DEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
end rant. done caring or trying for CSR 50.
Why don’t we just calm down and have a looky-loo at your claims and how they compare to your stats.

You drop from 30 to 27 over 3 games where you either quit, or place nearly last. Not sure what you were expecting.

Furious pretty much shut down your entire argument, but I would like to add that the ranks of your opponents are a huge factor in ranking up or down. For example, if you faceroll for 3 games, but they were all rank 10, you won’t go up. However, if you barely squeak out a win against 50s, assuming you aren’t 45+, prepare to jump a couple ranks.
CSR felt broken to me at first, but after playing a bunch with it, I think it’s very well put together. On my favorite playlists, it’s very hard to rank up or down, and I like that – if I play crappy for a game or two, my CSR doesn’t take too bad of a hit as long as I don’t continue like that.
My only complaint is that I seem to play a lot of games where there’s one high-rank player on my team (me) and one high-rank player on the other team and the game is pretty much decided by who can win faster than their teammates lose. I’m sure this is due to a lack of high-ranking players in the pool, but it’s still a frustration.
those score pages dont make any sense, the swat one kind of does. I guess, even with the low scores the games were still victories besides the last one. I dont agree with a drop of 3 on the scale.
The BTB ones dont make sense because i disconnected from XBL in one game last night unintentionally but didnt disconnect from any others intentionally or unintentionally.

In SWAT and BTIS you’re ranked by points, not wins. It doesn’t matter if you win if you come in last place because you’re in last place. Focus on getting highest points in the match against equal or greater opponents and you’ll go up in rank.
Also please don’t bypass the swear filter.

That last part is the problem for me. Look at my last 10 games. I mean, now I have to back out because the players i’m playing aren’t at the same CSR level? Now it’s ON ME to work around the matchmaking system because it can’t match me up with players my level? So if I decide to you know… just play, get the most points in the game, it’ll level me down because everyone else isn’t close to my CSR? I think that’s bull and the system sucks.
