Does anybody else wish there was an assist medal? I love how in the last couple Halo’s there was an assist medal just for the simple fact that you can see when somebody kills the guy you were shooting at without looking at the kill log. I know there is a black rectangle around the kill log if there is an assist in H5, but I would prefer an assist medal.
Anybody else feel my pain haha or is it just me?
If I am not mistaken there is also a noise that plays when you get an assist as well which can be used as that notification the person you shot died.
There is a medal for assists… It pops up on the same spot as all the other medals.
It’s not the black rectangle that shows an assist but the little play button shaped triangle next to the kill. It does still count as a medal, either way. It just doesn’t show up.
You still see the assist medal in certain modes. And you can still get the Wingman medal in any mode.
I agree it should be in normal arena modes, but not in Warzone. For example, when playing Warzone Assault, especially on Stormbreak with everyone coming up the ramp in the beginning, I’ll probaby get like 20 assists and it would be annoying to see it constantly.
Yeah there is a little yellow/tan Arrow to the left of the name in the Kill feed. that shows you got an assist.
Assists were one of the first commendations I maxed out. Always a bridesmaid…

I fully agree.
There should be an assist for friendly fire I don’t know how many times I’ve been killed by my team and the enemy got last shot.
