It’s been like that in every Halo, there’s no way they’d change it now. If you are with another team mate, you are less likely to die than you are alone, but the cost is that he will get some of the kills, if you don’t like it go play FFA.

Ok dude chill, it happens in ALL the halo games and really ANY game. The player who makes the killing shot gets credit for the kill.
Also if you get so many assist now you unlock a “Sunspot” or something like that visor color, so its much better to get the assist then not getting anything as all.

Yup. I now have diabetes. Seriously, calm down, big guy. How is this any different than other shooters. In CoD you can down someone and only get an assist. Be thankful you’re actually getting assist medals.
