Assist Commendation

I noticed in the assist commendation under game mode it says “earn an assist in Warzone”. Progress is made on this in both arena and firefight as well, but not for every assist. Does anyone know exactly which assist medals from each game mode count toward the commendation?

Is it bosses only in Firefight?
Special assist medals in arena, like EMP assist or team takedown assist?

I think any Assist earned while playing in Warzone will count. Just make sure you get the credit for helping out (and not landing the killing blow).

just play a 12v12 mode and stick to the middle obj with other teammates.

I think all assists count. As long as you’re putting shots in, yet someone else gets the kill.
