Can i just say I love the new AR scope to adjust for its tuning, i think it is great. It reminds me of the old reach AR and it makes me feel more accurate with it! Good job 343!
Well thats what they were going for. Im just glad that I actually have to aim with it now. Feels…more natrual to me.
It’s not super easy to aim with anymore. I can still use it pretty well actually, I just can’ goof around with it.
Though not full used to pacing my shots now so have to play around with that a bit with the new accuracy and fire rate and dps changes.

It wreaks if you get the headshot bonuses. Just aim for the head and experience the hilarity.
The Reach AR sucked hard, poor damage, low accuracy. It was a gimped SMG. Now the H4 AR had some teeth, all it needed was tighter accuracy and a zoom.
This one now feels like a rifle. Maybe even SWAT worthy…joking of course. Or am I?
Seriously though it murders unshielded targets now.
Grunts? 1-2 to the dome.
Jackals? 1-2 to the dome.
Elites with popped shields? 1-2 to the dome.
Haven’t tried it with Prometheans but I can safely say this. The MA5D, now worthy of the title UNSC workhorse.
The ONLY complaint I have is about reserve ammo. Only 6 mags is still pretty low, 10 would be best to ram home the “standard issue” aspect. Take it anywhere and everywhere it will never let you down.
I’m a fan of the new AR scope as well, although I think I preferred to tune in the way it was before, I’ll just have to adjust.
I like the new AR reticle, but the 2 headshot kill screws up infection to the point that Im NEVER PLAYING AGAIN. the accuracy is WAAAAY to op so now i cam snipe people and body shots dont do anything anymore. way to promote spaming ar 343
Haven’t gotten to try it yet but I like what I’m hearing.
How it seems to be turning into more of a precision auto. Makes it more unique and fit a certain role autos hardly fill.

Having tested it out (and the Extend Mags variant), I can say that the AR is quite the monster in comparison to the once-mighty Battle Rifle. That’s saying something there.
