This is not a video that will tell you what weapon is better. I simply run through all of the stats of the weapons (damage, rate of fire, range, accuracy, etc.) I’m hoping this helps some of you out =)
I was up all night finishing this (Vegas was being a pain, the render failed FOUR times … FOUR!!) so now imma go sleep.
Since I always burst fire, I almost never deal with overheating my Storm Rifle. So it’s the most effective for me. The AR is always fun to use, but with the constant DMR users, I feel it’s slower kill time is lackluster in comparison to either.
And the Suppressor is my least favorite. I don’t agree with the video. I find the Suppressor to be the least accurate due to it having the highest bloom and slowest projectiles. It’s good for taking out Promies in SpOps and campaign, but hitting the smaller hitboxes of human-controlled spartans is a much bigger challenge. But it could just be the lack of me trying to use it in serious confrontation.

in this video the storm rifle is more accurate than the suppressor so I guess I will stick with this video
Thanks for the vid. Honestly they are all pretty evenly matched. The AR is the most accurate with the slowest killtime. The Suppressor is the least accurate and versatile with the best killtime of all primaries while the Storm Rifle fits snugly between them.

Thats odd, I did extensive testing for it (namely starting at 10 meters and moving farther and farther away until I could no longer get a reliable kill from a single magazing). Even if the storm rifle is more accurate, the suppressor is harder to use at the end of its range because of the projectile speed
Edit: I guess what I’m trying to say is that the end result is still the same, the Storm Rifle PERFORMS better at range, regardless of its accuracy compared to the Suppressor
I like this one as it’s much more well done then the lazy first analysis of the ranged weapons where people would shoot each other in the face at point blank range.
Didn’t know much of this, all I knew was that the SR was my favorite of the three since the start. I love this gun for power, and accuracy up close, and since I burst fire period with any weapon over-heating is not much of an obstacle for me, if at all.
