Assault rifle too strong?

Is it me or is the assault rifle more powerful in this flight? If so I hope they nerf it because it’s making the br and commando obsolete

It’s feeling just right. The Commando is terrible all together and should be replaced with a proper DMR and the BR isn’t made for CQB. I haven’t been outmatched by the AR when engaging them in Mid-range

The commando is amazing, you just have to learn how to control your recoil. When you land all shots and get a “Perfect,” the thing absolutely shreds compared to the Sidekick or BR.

I have had so many times where I start hitting the enemy first, not that far away, hitting majority of my shots with a AR and they turn and then kill me with the Sidekick. I think the Sidekick is too powerful right now.

I agree. Need to nerf AR. It’s beating BR 4 shot

Assault rifle seems quite balanced and the commando does as well. I feel like the sidekick doesn’t get the the recognition it deserves I lose almost every short engagement because it takes 7 headshots to get a kill or 10 body shots.

Up close its good but range is its weakness, so no i dont agree

yeah i too feel like the commando could use a slight buff maybe either in the recoil or damage area, but it also could be that it needs to be used in cqc or mid-range gunfights; need more time to play with it and find its strengths.

AR seems kinda weak imo. I try to get rid of it as soon as possibly for another gun.

The AR seems fine in close range, not as much of a throwaway weapon as it used to be. I do think it needs a small nerf to the magazine size if anything. Overall I think it’s in a good place.

The commando is perfect as is. It’s great for close to medium-range flights. And can even go up against a BR at long range if you can control the recoil. I don’t think this needs to be adjusted at all.

Actually, I think they should buff it a lil bit so you don’t have to depend on the sidekick to finish the job.
But I can understand if they leave it as is, it’s quite good to deplete shields

I don’t know if I’m playing a different game, but imho the AR feels really good this time. It’s finally a gun I don’t try to get rid off immediately, I really enjoy using it. What I wouldn’t like is the same old pistol+br are the only weapons show we’ve seen a long time. If anything the sidekick seems to be just a tad too strong at the moment, doesn’t live up to it’s name. 9/10 guys spamming sidekick and br would get old real fast, many good options is a lot better.

AR is strong but BR will be better if you lower your sensitivity down to catch the head shots. AR plus pistol combo is good better then picking up the BR.

I think this AR feels “too strong” simply because the maps aren’t too big, same about the BR, the maps aren’t fit to use it efficiently imo (unless you have good aim). The commando is just a fast dmr without zoom.

Try shooting only body shots and then ask again if it’s too strong. It takes “forever” to kill with body shots. I think the critical multiplier is a little too high given how easy it is to land headshots, which in effect is the result of AR being very stable. Past the initial recoil the AR settles in a little too comfortably. So perhaps give it more recoil or change the critical damage, out of those two things changed and I am sure nobody will say AR is too strong.

no way! i can sink 20 bullets into someone with it and they still arent dead…definitely needs a buff…hand gun is what needs a nerf lol
