Assault needs to be tweaked games take too long

Whenever assault games come up in Team Arena i am tempted to dashboard out of there like some people do with certain maps. The only time i see assault games end fast is when team are crazy un even.
Maybe take away the one hit melee and give the ball guy a pistol like they do with CTF?

No thank you, I like assault just the way it is if it was pistol and normal melee then it really isnt that different from just doing ctf

Yes and no to that one because then it becomes a thing where if you clear them out you’ll just be standing there arming with no resistance due to the spawn time and then the walk there not just the spawn time like it is right now, but it is pretty annoying arming with guys spawning on you, but it makes the game all around more fun because its more of a challenge.

ot have it like oh idk… NORMAL assault where you plant the bomb and walk away?

I could of sworn on the social version they had the enemy would spawn on your base after you killed them if you were arming

Assault Rifle is fine as is, and plus to be honest, compared to it’s past variants, the AR in Halo 5 is by far one of the better ones IMO. 343 has been doing a good job with the AR so it’s fine by me.

Yeah I really don’t enjoy Assault in Team Arena tbh. Yesterday I played a game of Assault on Torque and after 15 minutes neither team scored and it was a tie. Would much rather see Oddball or KOTH take its place.

The easiest solution to would be to have it where the bomb plants instantly, but has a timer to go off.

Assault in H5 needs to be round-based like in previous games. Otherwise, the game becomes more of a spawn trapping nightmare than it used to be.

I personally really like how Assault is right now. I enjoy the longer drawn out matches, more kills.

They should also bring Assault in BTB… I still don’t know why…

in the right game its more deaths

I haven’t had very many problems with Assault. The real issue is the fact that defusing the bomb is no longer possible, even in custom games.

it would take just as long since most assault games go the distance with a draw

I feel like 1/5 is a draw. Dont know if its a bad thing but it sure is a long time to spend in high gear when its a draw. Leaves me tired. And why is there more assault than slayer ?

I really like Assault, but I do agree that when teams are pretty evenly matched the game can just go on with nobody really making much progress. Although the same could be said for CTF.
