Assault matches turning into endless slayer

I will start of by saying i am glad assault is here but too often it turns into a form of endless slayer with neither teams going after the ball noticed the same thing with capture the flag and big team capture the flag.

i even had to betray a supposed team mate for sitting with the ball slightly outside of the map to draw out the match.

hopefully this behavior will drop soon because its very annoying.

to even more exacerbate the farming against casuals/randoms.

yea, good choice.

I have yet to experience this, but perhaps REQ point bonuses as insentives to actually planting the bomb would help?

slayer has a kill limit (50 to win the game) where assault does not. Playing assault with a team that has 30 kills total vs a team with 60 kills and not even 1 ball score is frustrating to say the least, teammates shooting me when i am carrying the ball just to prolong the pointless farming of kills

this is why i am suggesting social slayer like we had in previous halos the objective based game types can be played by people who actually want to play them, instead of players who just want to farm kills for who knows what reason.

Then everyone would just kill each other for the ball.

I only played 3 games of Assault last night but they were all very objective-focused (trying to score)
