So ive been having trouble trying to get the Assassin master medal and am only mange to get 1 or 2 assassinations every 3 or 4 games and am not one for giving up so i decided to sallow my man hood as being a spartan and ask the wonderful boys and girls of the halo waypoint forms and ask for tips and tricks of racking up the assassinations and game so if you have tips and tricks feel free to post them down bellow and maby they can help me and meany other noobs stuck getting the same thing
One of the easiest assassination methods is to have the target distracted by another player and then you want to sneak behind the target. Then go in for the kill.
Play SWAT or any gametype that doesn’t have a radar. You would be surprised how easy it is.
One other suggestion is go into BTB or Heavies and sometimes you will get a large portion of the enemy team AFKing and you should know what to do from there on. Only problem with that is finding the AFKers.
I went into FFA or Team Slayer, i used Unlimited sprint and Hologram and went to town. I went against a team of split screeners and i got around 15+ assassinations. Just hide, drop a hologram ahead of where you are and sprint and assassinate them. Only on smaller maps though, like Adrift. That’s how i got the assassination mastery.

Thanks for the feed back guys it really helped me now i just need 25 more and i has the master and hoply it will help other -Yoink- like me rack up some kills this is why i love the halo community not scared to help fellow spartan out.

Yeah, thank you. I also have trouble with Assassinating people.
I got mine done on griffball. Try and go around the ball at the start and don’t rush in. People usually go for the ball so you won’t be noticed as much. Thing is though is that teammates are often a tad mean and will kill you and the person you’re assassinating if they see you. All the same though I can usually pick up 5-10+ assassinations per game if that’s what I’m going for.

- The reccomendated support upgrade to use is “Stealth”. Much like the perk “Dead Silence” in Call of Duty, it quiets your footsteps and make you do assassinations faster. But also makes you harder to see on Promethean Vision, as it you were using active camo.
- AFK players are the easiest targets! Or even players who are pulling up their Xbox Guide.
- The easiest way to prevent you’re self from being assassinated, is to have your back against the wall. Assassins always go after people who have their back turned. I learned that the hard way in Gotham City Imposters, how I once got assassinated. But then I was scoring assassinations like CRAZY!

If you can get in such an objective based game outside of King of the Hill, that can work well for you. People are so distracted with the ‘King’, ‘oddball’, ‘Flag’, etc that it does make obtaining assassinations easier to obtain. If you have a sharp eye, Lightning Flag from Team Action Sack can work good as well for racking up assassinations. Mini Slayer from Team Action Sack can provide some assassinations as well if you keep a sharp eye. If you’re the sneaky type, Flood can work well as well as Team Ninja Assassins from Team Action Sack.
Either get good at assassinations or how i got it originally (At this was back in my noob days) (We were all noobs once) I played team snipers and used stealth to sneak behind enemy players especially the camping ones thats how i got it.
i want to just do a back smack, i dont hold B at all but i still assassinate 
The Thruster Pack helps at times for a quick assassination but you have to be good and know how to use the Thruster Pack.
Do a game mode like swat that has no radar.
