Go to assassinate a player, press the button - Animation is about to play - Then the camera jumps - The assassination stops - It is like you never touched them
Can happen randomly at any time, but happens around 15 - 20% of the time.
I am sure I have game play of this, so I will update when I find it.
It’s not the update. It has to do with in-game lag. Your system picks up you’re trying to start an assassination. The server isn’t. Thus it stops your animation because it’s stopping your assassination from occurring because according to the server, it isn’t happening.

Server issues happen over an extended period of time before they get resolved. If there’s a bad run of 3 or 4 issues in 1 week and you play more often than usual in that span, it can seem that way.

Yeah, that’s one of your teammates stealing your kill. Not a glitch.
