So I was thinking about the different assassinations you can unlock from REQ packs in Halo 5, and I do have some ideas, but I’m a real poor animator, so I guess I’ll leave them here:
Up and Over

Stab target in back - Spin target around with knife - Pull out knife, stab target in face. - Using knife, hoist target over head and behind you - Take out knife, put it awayDiadact’s Demise (Yes, I know he didn’t die from it, but it sounds cool.)

Grab target’s shoulder - Spin target around - Plant pulse grenade in target’s groin - Kick target back - ExplosionThis one could be a situational assassination, for when you have a pulse grenade, and when the target explodes, anyone nearby is damaged and could potentially die.
Street Fighter
- Punch target in back of head - Target throws two quick punches, one that is dodged and one that is blocked - Roundhouse punch to side of target, slam target into groundIf anyone has any suggestions or ideas, let me know.
I actually turned mine off all together.
Giving people an extra 2 - 3 seconds to shoot me while I go through an extended animation seems counter-productive.
But… If I were to add something constructive to the conversation, I do like the head stomp one being released with the December update.
Stone Cold Stunner! Would be awesome! Turn them around, Kick them to take off their shield, then stun them for the kill.
Also, I had a Kinect idea where we could “map out our own assassination animations,” it would probably be the best use of the kinect, ever! haha.

I like watching the assassinations since Reach. Yeah it pisses me off when a -Yoink- teammate sees me doing it and kills my target mid-assassination. Granted yeah it sucks when you’re killing a guy and his teammate kills you before you’re finished and your target survives.
JOHN CENA and THE ROCK SIGNATURE MOVE
I’d like to see a simple neck snap no knife. Nothing fancy just walk up grab their head break the neck and walk away.

FU and Rock Bottom. I thought about these and don’t know how they would relate. I like the Stone Cold Stunner because it has distinct moves that can work well. The kick to initiate will take off the shield, and the drop would do the actual killing.

Or steal their knife before u kick them onto the ground, so ur throwing their own knife back at em.
I like the Street Fighter idea. The ones where the guy fights back are cool

Grab them from the back, flip out a needler, grab it upside down and then jab the needles from the top of gun in the back then kick away and watch the pink death explosion!

How about the DOA 4 special (https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=Tn69peNBb-M#t=32) plasma grenade to the stomach then kick away and explode.
I feel like each weapon should have it’s own special assassination like how each weapon in GoW has its own special execution. I’d love to club a spartan over the head with my sniper.
How about for the female only assassination they do the neck break black widow did in iron man 2.

I got an assassination idea:
Name: Still deciding but I’ll go with “Never Saw It Coming”
How it’ll go down (in order):
- Hit enemy’s upper back with the shoulder of your arm - Hit enemy’s back again with the elbow of the same arm - Hit enemy’s back for the third time with fist of the same armThis will stun the enemy spartan after the under vertical strike, and a second later your spartan finishes him/her off with a headshot of your pistol in the other arm’s hand.
Name : assassin’s specialty
grab enemy spartans head.
bend over and quickly grab the left ankle, picking the spartan up, Holding them horizontally by head and foot.
Slam chest and head first into ground to drain shield.
Place a knee on enemies back holding them to ground while you angle their helmet exposing neck to stab with knife.
name: professional killer
enemy spins around just in time to block vertical downward stab aimed for the back of the neck.
With knife hand stuck in blocked position above both spartans heads, you drop the knife from right hand to catch in open left hand. (Similar to in farcry 3)
with knife in left hand you move in close nearly hugging the spartan to land two extremely fast stabs to the enemies right side ribs.
with the two fast stabs stunning and basicly killing the spartan, your spartan grabs the enemies right wrist moving it out of the way for a finishing horisontal slash to the throat.
