I don’t think so. I’m pretty sure it’s technically a vehicle, both in lore and from a coding/programming perspective. Which can’t be assassinated because vehicles can’t be assassinated and can’t be hijacked because balance.
Agreed, I’ve had so many teammates try to melee the Grunt Goblin to death when its health was low (including myself), but the Goblin wiped us all out LOL
Be nice if a person could plant a grenade inside of it when its health is low.

I spartan charged it when i ran out of ammo just to see if i could disorient it. Nothing happened. Lol
The Grunt mech is hilarious. I wish 343 would add them in campaign.

Agreed I was laughing the entire time while trying to kill destroy him.
It would be a cool addition imo, or maybe when it is at low health you can board it. But, just, the Grunt Goblin is both hilarious and hilariously terrifying. I absolutely love the thing and I really hope we get to see more of it in the future. (HW 2 pls)
Yes a grunt mech in halo wars 2 lol maybe a leader unit like the brute warlord.
I don’t think it’s possible but it would be hilarious if it was. I can just imagine the grunt mech voice yelling “what are you doing! that’s cheating!! get off meeeee!!!” as you climb ontop and plant a nade inside.
The Grunt mech is pretty damn silly! Also comes with hordes of Grunts which makes it hard. Having to wade through waves of Grunts only to face a laughing, screaming, wailing, leaping crazy robot!
Can you assassinate other vehicles?
Plant a grenade like with scorpion could be funny!

Maybe not stolen but in theory it should technically be assassinated like how a Mantis is via grenades.
It would be funny if you could get in a mantis and use that to assassinate it

Heres an idea to possibly assassinate the grunt goblin:
When it is low on health, go behind to assassinate as usual, you can jump on the hump of the grunt mech, break the shield (because it should be almost breaking) grab the grunt out, throw the grunt on the ground and jump on to its head like the assassination of an elite in halo reach ( and I guess the mech could explode in the background)

I wish I could assassinate it. Destroyed the my laser mantis like it was nothing. I want revenge on that -Yoink-.
Maybe it’s because I always headshot the grunts and also assassinate them. I guess they want revenge.
When vehicles go below 10% health, you should have the ability to board it and plant a grenade… this extends to AI Mantises, Tanks, Grunt Goblin, etc. After all, you can assassinate Warden Eternal and Mythic Knights when they go below 10% health.
