Right so today I went on halo 5 and got 4 assasinations stolen by “teammates”.I think 343 should make it so that when you are assassinating someone your “teammates” can’t kill the person.
They definitely beefed up the shields of the victim when getting assassinated but I think they have a bit of code that works like an honor system where players with a lot of yoink medals will get paired with others that have them. So if you don’t want team mates that steal assassinations, don’t steal assassinations. Or you could just be unlucky

I was assassinating someone. And a ghost drove up next to us. And then splattered the guy. And because of the super legit splattering i had my shields popped. And then was 1 shotted by a br across the map.
Probably reported him.
For spartan assassinations I don’t mind but you should get assist credit for bosses in Warzone.
It really bothers me when I get yoinked. I’ve only yoinked someone else once by accident. I feel like an assassination is a pretty rare thing (at least for me it is) so I really enjoy it when I’m hitting one, and it really gets under my skin when a teammate decides to take that away from me.
I turned it off bc it happened so often. Sometimes you steal one by accident but some people make a habit of it
It’s definitely a growing problem… finishing the personal assassination comm took a lot longer than it should have because for every assassination I did get, three or four other attempts would get yoinked… I think (again just my opinion)… the try hards and the super sweats don’t want people completing assassinations so they’re company doesn’t get credit for them. A lot of companies still need to finish the assassination comm, so the try hards and the super sweats want to keep the armor/helmet as exclusive as possible. Kind of sad really that some people have to resort to stealing assassinations…
I have assassinations deactivated in Halo 5 as an assassination doesn’t mean a certain kill, you are extremely exposed while being stuck in the animation and it’s so much more satisfying performing beat downs and see the enemy die instantly.

True
If I see someone assassinating, I don’t yoink it, I let them have they’re earned kill. Now I personally don’t assassinate because i don’t expect this from other players and you could get killed while assassinating. It’s smarter to jus hit that one back smack.
