Is 343i taking suggestions on assasinations to add? If so how would this be done? My thought was getting a fake knife with a push in blade, and posting videos of the assasinations on youtube. The url for the video could then be posted in the fourms here or on a topic like this. The videos would be a sort of rough draft for 343 to ignore or work into an in game assasination. Will this be a possibility?

I was thinking the same thing using the kinect to demonstrate a customized assassination. I still would love to do the Stone Cold Stunner though.

If they add a -Yoink!- assassination, they should make it last 12 seconds so the guy you just assassinated has time to respawn and come back and kill you.

This reminds me of the armor effects from Reach, like the lightening and stinky smell, etc.
Im talking about serious, legit animations. Weather they are a mix of military training and tring to look cool, i mean legit professional looking assasinations that fit in with the rest.
We need team assasinations!

Do the setup for the Sharpshooter, do a full roll back, thereby breaking the back. Then stand up from the roll.

We need fun ones as well as brutal ones, kick in the balls, the girly slap to the face, the -Yoink!-, they all need to be added. Heck we need a chuck norris round house kick to the face

343 does not respond to the posts, they do read them (from multiple forums not just this one) but they wont say “hey we read it”

Good to know. I figured someone weather 343 or not would know if suggesting animations will be a waste of time or if it is among the things they “are listening to”. Know what im sayin?

Yeah, I hope they don’t start doing dumb Assassinations. Nice Try is already pretty stupid, so I don’t think they’re gonna care later on.

YES YES YES 1000 TIMES! That would be dope as -Yoink-. You run up and knee the guy into the air with thrusters then your buddy catches them stabs them throws them back to the ground where you’re waiting to stop their face in. It would trigger if you’re within a certain range of a teammate doin an assassination but it can disabled by a double tap of the button or the other guy hits any button
How about one that lets you kick spartans in the groin
Round house kick to the head. Or maybe grab them by the head with your feet and flip them over you into the ground. Maybe also a german suplex
I have a couple of ideas. Let me know what you guys think.

One where you have to sneak up behind them (this could be a default one) and your spartan taps the enemy on the shoulder, he turns around and there is a full knockout punch to the face

A silly one where your spartan leapfrogs the enemy then turns around and Dragonball Z style punches them away

Another silly one with Your Spartan covering the visor of the enemy then either snaps their neck or pushes them forward and stabs them in the back of the head

We need an assassination with an energy sword like the elite ones from Halo: Reach. For example, your spartan picks up the enemy, throws them to the ground and stabs them in the back on the ground (while still moving forward and just pulls your sword out.

An extremely brutal one where your Spartan has two knives and he stabs one in their back, pulls it out and double slashes the back of their neck.

Spin the enemy around, cut across their chest with the left hand. Pauses, then turns around and kicks them away with the left leg.

Brutal air-assassination where the spartan hits the other one in the back with the knife and throws them to the sky but then grabs their leg and smashes them into the ground. (Very humiliating)

(Similar to above) Spin enemy around and punch them in the head to throw them flying backwards, then grab their leg and throw them over your head and into the ground. (Could be called “Puny God”?)

Spin enemy around, punch them in the gut so they double over then make a double fist and knock them backwards

Simple one. Pick them up by the throat and stab them through the back. Then drop them and have your spartan do the Arbiter’s roaring pose after they fall. (Coincidentally, call “You Must Be Silenced”)

Also I mean while I am here, I might as well mention this: What do you all think about an original Spartan helmet and body armor? There could be abs on the body armour, no/small shoulder plates, no/small thigh plates and elaborate forearms. The helmet could actually have the crest on it and the visor could go in the “T” gap in the middle. And the name for this armor? Leonidas
