assasination animation should not turn off

hi all:
in my option that assasination animation is part of halo5, should’t give player options to turn that off,
if you choose assasinate some player, you should take risk of you choice.
i think turn on assasination its very reasonable because when you turn off its too fast to kill some player, and can’t interrupt it which its fun to save your teamate being assasination.

i suggest that turn on/off assasination is only affect in arena, warzone always turn on assasinations.

But if you prefer a quick beat down without the risk of being kill you can turned it off. I like the cool animation and everything. seems fine to me in warzone, but you can lose precious second in Arena.

Well, there have been times where I assassinated someone when I didn’t mean to (from accidentally holding the button too long), and it has resulted in my death. I like the animations, but I’m glad there’s an option to turn them off so I don’t die from accidents anymore

I can see where you’re coming from, but forcing an animation won’t a appeal to huge competitive players.

Why should be punished with the risk being killed by your buddy if your the one with your guard down…

I’d rather not get stuck in an animation while playing a fast paced arena shooter.

I’m thankful I can turn it off. I persevered with it on for ages but no matter how quickly I thought I’d pressed the melee button I continually kept accidentally going into the animation so eventually I just turned it off completely. its so much better with it off.

No

Should we also remove crouch toggle? Stabilizers? Ect ect? The option is there for a reason as not everyone wants it used. It’s also not much of a risk reward thing either, it’s just a melee that kills with one hit like any other in the back, it provides no benefits other than satisfaction where as the downside is example: I assassinate a guy, he has a team mate backing him up and kills me before assassination triggers. I’m dead, immediately followed up by those two who lived then fight my own team mate who’s now outnumbered because I decided to assassinate in a bad situation.

That example happens way to much where it’s rather annoying when I see team mates assassinate in competitive game. I’m ok with people doing it in social/warzone play but it doesn’t need to be turned on for everyone by default.

They need to keep the option to turn it off. They just need to. But they should have made it so back smacks counted towards the Assassination commendation.

Yeah I have to agree with most people on this one. The toggle option is a feature for those who prefer pre-halo reach gameplay or would rather beat down somebody real quick. Personally I’d rather leave mine on.

This is the opposite of progress.

“Let’s force everyone to use a minor feature that not everyone was too keen on in the first place.”

No one’s going to agree on this.
