There is no reason that everyone should be subjected to the same quirky remarks every time they pick up a weapon or get an ordinary kill. A lot of people like this, which is fine, but a lot of people also find it grating, obnoxious, and frankly cringeworthy attempts at being witty or zany that detract from the experience and clutter up the audio experience.
The AI unfortunately are tied to important callouts, such as objective calls, so a full AI toggle off wouldn’t be wise. But one that allows toggling off non-essential lines would be perfect. I don’t need Butler, the supposedly most “normal” AI telling me how much machine guns suit me every time I get a Commando kill, or Iratus going off about how much he hates the AR and loves the BR.
This is something a lot of people expected when the game was still in beta but it never happened.
