Last week, we revealed a brand new Halo multiplayer experience for the very first time. It is massive, ambitious, and combines the best elements of Halo gameplay into a single mode. As you’re undoubtedly well aware, it is called Warzone, and we’re sure you have questions that you’re dying to ask, so we’re stopping by to grab some of them for a future weekly update. Simply post your questions in this thread, and they may very well be selected and answered by the Halo 5 team in the near future.
If you haven’t yet checked out Warzone, here are a few handy links to catch you up!

> - Warzone Trailer - Warzone ViDoc - More info: REQ Packs in Halo 5: Guardians We are looking forward to reading and answering your questions - so go on, ask away!
Is it true that you wont need to buy req packs to enjoy the game mode?
On a serious note: Will each map have different amounts of bosses to kill or is it the same across all?
The best news is that Warzone is confirmed to have JIP. Very smart decision.
Questions:
Will there be team killing? - How will betrayal be taken care of if team killing is still on? - Will players be kicked if they are AFK? Players should be kicked after 3-4 minutes. - Will Warzone pick random maps, or veto, or a vote system? - Will Warzone be playable right away since BTB is not going to be available at launch? - Since Warzone is social, will BTB be ranked?
Will the named AI bosses ever appear in Halo novels/comics etc… giving us a backstory or letting us know their current role within the Covenant/Warrior Servant rate?
Are the values for killing AI bosses still being tuned? It seemed like getting 200 VP (1/5th of the score needed to win) for killing a Legendary Boss at E3 was a bit much.
Can we get more details on the boss variation of the bosses we encounter? Will we encounter big, powerful bosses akin to Scarab battles in Halo 3 or the Lich in Halo 4? Maybe even a Wraith or Phaeton convoy? So far we’ve seen rather basic bosses.
Only two of them look fun to fight and that’s the Elder Hunters (which we’ve yet to see gameplay of) and Baron in his banshee. The Sprint showed off something that looked like the Warden Eternal called Condycept - Digital Exarch which looked very fun to fight. I just want to know more about the variations of the bosses we can encounter in Warzone.
What have you done to prevent an abundance of dead zones or a lack of action? In the gameplay I’ve seen, there are lots of zones without so much activity. What do you plan to do to keep it interesting?
Long time halo player but i grew out of my console it was way to limited for my needs so what i ask will you please being the entire halo franchise back to pc because the game needs to go home you have millions of people wanting it back so we can finish the fight ! be respectful to all gamers
I’ve got a question about the “energy”. I notice it has a passive regeneration, however I’d like to know if kills or holding objectives increases this passive regeneration of energy used to “redeem” REQs in Warzone.
