Feel free to ask me any questions you have about my gameplay experience at PAX Prime 2012. I played two rounds of CTF on Exile. I didn’t get a chance to try out various weapons, but please, I’d love to talk about it. Oh and I’m Zoltan from Ready Up Live’s Gameplay video.

Edit 12:04am, Sept. 14: This has been going for awhile now, and my experience isn’t quite so fresh in my mind anymore. Regardless, I’ll do my best to answer your questions.Thanks to all those who responded, and thanks for your patience in awaiting my answers. With school (and tennis) in full swing, I am quite the busy guy. I only get on the forums once per night, if that.

Didn’t get a chance to. On Friday I played CTF on Exile, and then for the community meetup we only had the option to play that same map and mode. I didn’t mind too much, because big team is awesome.

Did it seem like the nade indicators were implemented properly? I’ve seen some videos where they don’t seem just right.

did you drive the warthog is it still as bouncy as before?

No a very practical question but how many armor pieces did people have available to customize? Just to get a sense of it all, i’ve seen a lot from recent footage.

Light rifle. How was it? How many shots did it take to get a kill? And in your opinion what would you use on a mid sized map: BR, DMR, or Light Rifle?

Did you use the SAW or Jetpack by chance, if so how did they feel/play?

It didn’t bother me and in fact was quite helpful. Easy to ignore if you don’t like them.

Does not being able to drop the flag and auto pickiups ruin the game like people say?

Bouncy was not a word I’d use to describe. It felt…weighty. Similar to Halo 3s Warthog if i had to pick one to compare it too.

But I was just wondering how the Banshee was in your opinion. Was it balanced, fair, more like the Halo 3 version?

You could literally choose nearly every armor set in the game. Highly customizable, but with only a couple minutes in the pre-game lobby, I wanted to customize loadouts instead. There must have been at least 20 of every major armor piece, with many helmets and visor colors.

Weird question:

What did it feel like to move around? (running and jumping) Was it like other halo games or did it feel different? Also, what control set up did you use and how did that feel?

Did you try Camo out at all, how does that work?

Sorry, didn’t get a chance to use the light rifle. But I watched someone next to me use it, it seems like a mid ground between the BR and DMR. And on mid-sized, I’d definitely go with the BR or maybe LR.

And don’t forget about the Covie Carbine! It seemed pretty sweet too when I tried it, and much better for close range than your DMR or Light Rifle
