Hey guys!

Everyone’s seen people to AMA’s on reddit or elsewhere, right? I thought it’d be a fun thing for us to do here on Waypoint too. There’s a lot of new names out there posting and I don’t necessarily recognize them which means they don’t necessarily know who we are. Here’s a quick introduction to me and then I’ll let you guys ask away!

I’m snickerdoodle. Some of you guys know me as Sam, or Doodle, or any other variation of my gamertag. I’ve been a mod here for 4 years now.

Just a few notes:

Have some fun with this. It doesn’t all have to be Halo related! But remember, all of the forum rules still apply so use good judgement and keep your questions appropriate please. The other mods and I can (and will) edit inappropriate questions as such. We also reserve the right to choose which questions we answer.

Question: How did you become a moderator?

Answer: I contributed to the forums regularly and I was a helpful user and the current mods/CM at the time asked me to join the team.

I’m just a mod. And all of us are volunteers.

Ok I’ve been here for more then 4 years and I honesty don’t remember seeing you before… I need to clean my HUD lol :stuck_out_tongue: Unfortunately I got to “meet you” the hard way LOL

Or it’s a perk of being a mod. I like to think it helps people notice if/when I post since it isn’t the same as the set available to everyone.

I try to keep a separation between “work” (here) and play. It’s nothing personal.

Nope. I was ecstatic when the boards updated and there were no more colors. My headache frequency has dropped greatly.
