No, this is not official. No, this may not be read. Yes, I think it is a good idea for us to gather some of the most important questions to us in hopes that they will be answered in the upcoming (no ETA yet) 343i Sparkast.
So, Game Informer dropped a lot of information. A lot of it is summarized here. Frankie and David have been doing a great job in clarifying a lot of our questions, but there is still a lot of content they plan on explaining. With a podcast (to quote bs angel) “Coming soon”, and given this post from David Ellis. It only seems logical to start a thread to gather all our burning questions.
tl;dr: Post your Halo 4 clarification questions here.
Note: I recommend asking questions regarding the information already dropped, as they will more likely be answered.

Sorry
Will halo 4 have a number ranking system similar to H2/H3 or more like Halo Reach or an all new system ?

Will elites be playable in custom games?
Why no dual wielding!?
With Spartan Ops replacing FireFight does that mean you will be able to create and customize a Spartan Ops mission of your own?
What is the extent of armor customization, will you be able to change every armor peace or just a select few like reach was?
With armor lock and bubble shield gone do you plane on having a shielding or defense armor ability in the game?
With Sargent Johnson no long with us will there be a -Yoink- comic relief that will support MC in his new advenches?
Will Firefight return in any capacity, or is it gone for good?
Will Spartan Ops missions be replayable, or do they disappear as new ones arrive?
How hard is Legendary this time aroud? Can we hope to expect a return to a Halo 2 style hurtfest, or is it going to be exceedingly easy like Halo 3/Reach?
Any information on what is replacing skulls and why the need to replace them? They’ve been there since Halo 2 and one of the few complaint threads I haven’t seen is “Why are there skulls in Halo LOL”.
How Customizable are these new breed of Spartan IV’s?
One thing I thought I noticed back in the Halo: Reach Beta was that adding certain armor actually effected and helped certain parts of game play(such as Jump-jet shoulders made the Jetpack fly longer), perhaps it was my imagination but will we be expecting anything similar from this supposed Modification slot?
While I understand it may be under wraps, but can we expect a game type similar to, or the game type itself, Invasion? In my own opinion it was the epitome of team-work, leadership, tactics, and other such characteristic that I, personally, would expect the higher brass of O.N.I to be looking for in these new Spartan’s.

Only thing that can make him happy is a carbon copy of CE.
What is the thought process and inspiration behind the design for Elites and Grunts in Halo 4. In my opinion, from what I have seen in the Game Informer images, both species look fairly silly. I guess both races are being struck hard by the dissolution of the Covenant, but why does their armour suddenly look so ridiculous, especially the Elite’s helmets?
Is the functionality of the returning armor abilities going to be modified? And can you elaborate on the changes?
Are the mechanics behind armor abilities going to be modified? For example, is everyone going to have infinite ability energy?
Sprinting at an enemy and then meleeing them multiple times was a very common strategy in Halo Reach. Are there going to be any modifications to either melee/sprint to address that behavior?
Can we have some clarification/description of the mentioned “assault carbine” weapon?
Master Chief is waking up this holiday, when is Mister Chief?
Are the Spartan Op missions (not storylines) going to be repetitive? Or are you adding different types of missions overtime to add variation?
Are we going to see more weapons used in the assassinations (sword in halo reach), or only the knife?
Perhaps assassinations with objectives (the flag!)?
Are “Spartan Ops” and “Spartan Points” final names or placeholders?
