I have got over 6 disintegration kills in one game on Daybreak and Perdition. I have tried this with the scattershot, pulse grenades, the incinerator and binary rifle but nothing works. I also tried it on the castle maps in different playlists. I was in the same game with a friend and the achievement unlocked for him. I tried doing the same as him in the same game, got over 6 kills and nothing. I have tried recovering my profile, deleting the cache with no joy. Does anyone have any ideas? The is last the achievement I need over all the Halo games I have played (everything but halo 2 pc and halo wars), so this is extremely annoying. Is there any way to reset my stats as the game clearly thinks I have already unlocked this. Other wise I will have to add this to the growing list of broken games on my profile (family guy, banjo kazooie nuts n bolts, and ufc). I didnt expect this from halo.
I guess the new update messed up some of the DLC achievements.
You have 2 things to choose from now.
A. Keep trying, and It should be unlocked at some point
B. Wait for 343 to fix these Achievement problems.
Some people have 2000G, so it’s not glitched by any means.
The Scattershot doesn’t always disintegrate players.

This is what I heard works as a fix, but seeing as you’ve already tried it I don’t know what else to say I’m afraid

I am also having trouble with ashes to ashes I hope 343 industries fixes this problem
Thanks for your input guys. I will try recovering my profile again, and also moving my save data onto another drive and starting a new save. Fingers crossed it will eventually pop.

I found Pulse Grenades were the most reliable way of doing it. Drop their shields then finish them with a grenade. It doesn’t actually have to vaporise them on screen, as long as you get a kill with the relevant weapon it will count.
Did you already tried it?
I’ve the same problem with ashes to ashes. I tried everything to let it pop. deleting chache, recovering gamertag, reinstall game and dlc, deleting save files and playing on other xbox. Because i tried so much I even got an xp ban. Therefor a fix would be most appreciated.

I just hope a 343 administrator goes in this thread and sees this problem so they can fix it because I tried doing this achievement and nothing works to unlocking it .This glitch is driving me crazy
I cannot get this acheivement to unlock as well. I did download and play the Champions dlc before the Castle and Magestic maps. This is because I took a break from this game after the Crimson dlc. Only missing Lonewolf and Ashes to Ashes achievements at this time, and I’m working on Lonewolf.

AHHHH I’ts still not fixed, I’m stuck at 1990G, most annoying thing ever. Does anyone know when the next update is?

A lot of people are suffering from the same issue!
The LightRifle, Suppressor and Boltshot will not trigger the achievement. However, the Incineration Cannon, Scattershot, and Binary Rifle do award the achievement. The use of Forerunner weapons that DO NOT disintegrate the target will not unlock this achievement.
@MM Systems Team: I must respectfully point out: This is not an issue of using the wrong weapon. A friend has tried the Scattershot, Binary Rifle, and Incineration Cannon (as you suggest), as well as Pulse Grenades.

All of these issues occurred after the Champions Bundle came out. Unfortunately, as far as I know, no one in the community has figured out a solution. Some people can still unlock these achievements, even after completing Champions achievements, but some cannot.
Some people can unlock some achievements, while others remain locked. My friend had all the Majestic and Crimson achievements, so only needed Hello Nurse and Ashes to Ashes (from the list above). Hello Nurse unlocked while Ashes to Ashes would not.
It is interesting to note that all of these are achievements that should be cumulative kills (or heals) over multiple games. But they cannot even be done in one game (for some people). Somehow the kills are not being recorded correctly for some people.
@MM Systems Team: It is not an error of using the wrong weapon, it is simply a bug happening to some (see a lot but not all) players. So all in all we simply need a fix. It seems that the Champions bundle has activated these issues and the cumulative kills are not recorded.

I See You! as well as the ones you posted aren’t unlocking for me either. Grr this driving me crazy!!!
I wonder when the next patch will come out to fix the glitch because I been waiting since the last week of August for 343 to fix it,so I can get the damn multiplayer achievements
