As someone who has complained for months about the under the hood issues...props 343 things have gotten better

I am one of those individuals who that feels if you are going to complain about something, once the issue has been resolved you should complement the resolution. That is what I would like to do today.

First, the major issues have been horrific lag, desyincing, and being dropped from games.

First, I will say I haven’t experienced any lag for weeks now which has been absolutely refreshing.

Second, I haven’t been kicked out of a game for several weeks which has been absolutely refreshing.

Desyncing…had some issues but no where what they use to be.

Content is terrible like before but I’m going to let that slide until season 2.

I just wanted to quickly state 343 that I appreciate your efforts and feel the game is fun once again now that is well…is running right.

Good job.

Interesting. As far as I know these have not been addressed.

Lucky OP is lucky.

The game’s fixed up alittle in it’s current state than the overly buggy mess it used to be 5 months ago. It’s still beaten bad with the bugs and is in no way in good shape but it’s certainly getting better by each month even if it’s a slowburn for these fixes.

This game will heal. I’m very optimistic about it. I had crashes a few times but they’re lesser than before thankfully.

Desync is absolutely horrific, hoping they were going to fix the bullet/cover desync but I’ll take what I can get if they’re going to fix melee desync first.

I’ve noticed zero improvements if not more issues since I in the West EU only get connected to NA servers because that’s the only region people still play in.

What are you taking about? There have been like 3 hot fixes since release that have all had game optimization items…

I’m not going to sit here and say Infinite is performing excellent (though tbf it does perform excellent on Series X in my experience), but it’s definitely better than release. My buddies and I haven’t had to restart our machines and reassemble our fireteam due to server/crash issues in over a month. Tbf we only play together for like 4 hours a week though

well ain’t you just a lucky lad… i’ve personally uninstalled the game since tac ops because the servers kept connecting me to 100+ ms servers… despite other games giving me 60 ms servers… so desync as far as i’m aware has been a continuous issue, and the composer is still trash giving servers that whiles do range from good… to mostly, 90% of the time, bad or across the world

Something definitely changed - around the time addressed geo-filters.

Had to wait a bit longer for games - but got way more at 25ms than before.

But even then I posted that when I did have games that were 75-150ms, they felt much crisper. Didn’t feel anywhere as frustrating to play.

Not sure if it was an improvement in lag or desync. Or both.

Only yesterday I played two games at 200ms. Both felt really good to play. Aiming was crisp and responsive. Only one melee I can recall didn’t register. And I think one rocket where I thought that probably should have killed that player.

Weirdly, just after that I played a game at 150ms that whiffed badly. Multiple melees that apparently missed (giving over holds at crucial times).

But anyway. Bottom line is that I agree. They have fixed at least some of the issues. I’m lucky because I hardly see any desync from my end. Just a bit of lag now and then (but living in Tasmania have to expect that).

Hopefully they can fix a bigger chunk of the issues with S2.
