I don’t think they’ll do it. I believe that the game isn’t coming next year, but in 2020, and we’ll have to wait until E3 2019 to get more substantial info.
Be nice if they just gave us some new info to get that Hype train going

This is extremely disappointing.
343i claims to be engaging the community but I’m yet to see a ViDoc like the old days, giving us glimpses at what the team is working on and how they’re feeling as a studio.
This black abyss of information is not doing the company any good. It feels like they’re hiding and trying to be the grey man imo. But that’s just me.

This is no shock at all and I have no idea why anyone would think otherwise. Why would Microsoft announce Halo information, one of there biggest franchises, at the X018 show, one of the smaller electronic events out there. X018 doesn’t hold a candle to something like E3 where practically every major gaming studio is there ALONG with mainstream media that isn’t gaming. That’s why all the big announcements are at E3.

A ViDoc of post-Halo 5 thoughts and actions would be really cool. I think they will make new seasons of “The Sprint” for multiplayer, warzone, and campaign.

Ya, all Xbox, meaning minimum exposure for the game. Why would Microsoft want that?? They want to show off there big games at the biggest show for maximum exposure, hence why it’s always happens at E3.
Also, what Halo announcements have ever been made there or anywhere else for that matter in the past? Do tell because i don’t remember anything at these shows. Microsoft has always used the biggest stage when announcing Halo information.
Once Halo 6 gameplay has been show and much more of the game revealed and such, they maybe Microsoft would share something at these shows, but until then, they are on lock down waiting for E3.

I’m a little disappointed at this, but not surprised if I’m being honest, I don’t think we’'ll see Halo Infinite before 2020, so a bigger announcement at E3 2019 would make more sense imo.

343i does ViDocs. We got some for Halo 4 and some for Halo 5.

They pulled the lid off halo 2 at one of these events for halo 2 back in the day also revealing halo wars as well
Darn that sucks. Well it’s good they confirmed it so I don’t have to wonder if we’ll get any there. In other things that could be announced at XO18: there’s rumors that Microsoft is in works to acquire Obsidian Entertainment. Hoping that will either be debunked or confirmed before or at XO18.
We probably will get a screen shot by 2021. Keep the faith.
Good to know. Seeing that we got an engine demonstration at E3, I wasn’t expecting anything, as X018 is airing a little less than 6 months after E3.
Im still excited about the X018 event though. I wonder if some of the games rumored for e3 but we’re no shows, will be shown here. I hope so.
Yet another missed opportunity. First E3 2017 now this. Just don’t wait till Fall 2020 to release the game.
I wont be watching it now since no halo at all will be there

What event? Source please. I don’t recall them announcing anything big about Halo 2 at some event.
Halo wars or any other Halo that isn’t the main series is different in my opinion. They aren’t as popular as the main series in everyway, nor do they feature the Master Chief which for many is the face of Halo. If Halo infinite wasn’t a game in the main series and didn’t feature the Master Chief I can maybe see Microsoft showing something at X018, but since it is, they definitely won’t be other than maybe some concept art and things like that like I said earlier.
This is a bit disappointing but kinda expected. Hopefully we’ll get some news by the end of the year.
