OMG…You have got to be kidding me…Git gud, nub.
“I had to leave like 15 games in a row to get strongholds.”
You are the type of player all of these comments are complaining about. Play the game, don’t be a -Yoink!-.
I’m absolutely beyond sick of leaving matches, but sick of HAVING to as well - all while WASTING my boosts. I am NOT getting 2kXP per day because of this.
Take off the winning games ones because everyone who plays this game is not smart enough to win
There isn’t a temporary ban for leaving the match/game. What I did for much of my shock rifle challenges is leave when I found out there isn’t a shock rifle on the map. Clearly that is not the game for me if the weapon I am being challenged to use doesn’t spawn or can’t be found. Unlike other Halo’s another player could matchmake into that match. Yea, it’s been frowned upon by many video games to leave a match early. But if it doesn’t have what I’m looking for I’m leaving. No sense to stay were I can’t accomplish my goals and neither should you. However, everyone has different challenges/goals and we should all be aware of that.
Each weapon is good in certain circumstances. So you kinda have to adjust how you play with each weapon. Normally you don’t use a long range weapon for a short range battle and you can’t really use a short range weapon for a long range battle. Theoretically of course. We all are aware of no-scope snipers.
Yes, PLEASE!!! I’m sad to say that I’m one of the players who was quitting matches last week just so I could play some Oddball for the last two challenges I had to do.
It’s not just gametypes, either. I had one challenge where I had to get a kill with the Skewer, but when I spawned into a game on Behemoth I saw that it was Sniper Rifle spawns. Had to back out and try again until I got the version of the map with the Skewer.
Where is the priest in here? And where should I start on my sins. . .
It does make it a bummer for the side that has players quit. I did a round of oddball on saturday and one of the other team either quit or lost connection, so it was 3v4. With that 1 extra player we trounced them.
Yes everyone has there challenges, but we also all have dif life’s, you may be able to play 5-7hrs everyday, where as someone as myself can play maybe 10-15hrs tops a week, and it’s very specific when I can play, mainly on my day off, or when my wife and daughter are asleep or at church lol Soo I get what your saying but for ppl with limited time like myself I could care less what others have, I gotta maximize my efficiency when I play lol
While it still won’t stop people from ruining matches at least since it would be against bots you have a better chance of winning and still having fun.
it’s not that challenges are PVP it’s that they are too specific also weapon spawns on social maps are random so that doesn’t help either.
If 343 did that, they’d make less money and ppl would go through the battle pass too quick. Not gonna happen
What makes you think I have 7 hours a day to play this game? I would assume that the developers would accommodate this game to the majority of its players who aren’t streamers, don’t have jobs, or etc that don’t play it 5-7 hours a day.
I said you may have, I didn’t say you have 5-7hrs to play, idk why in even responding now lol your obviously picking and choosing exactly what words to interpret from my response lol
And I would almost guarantee the system isn’t made to accommodate everyone, if it was, we’d all have the same exact 20 weekly challenges and there’d no challenge swaps
The Challenges are Randomly Generated, The Game Modes are Random what you get, the Gun Spawns are Random: Rockets/Skewer/Sniper. Etc
The maps are random, Vehicle Spawns are Random
So it’s RNG stacked on RNG Stacked on RNG, so everyone’s time to complete will be very different, but we all don’t have the same amount of time to play
Sure, some of it randomly generated. If you’ve actually been playing you’d notice which of which is randomly generated.
So leave the match/quick play/or etc. if you’re trying to complete certain challenges and it’s not the right game type or etc. Don’t waste your time and don’t let other either.
I know what is randomly generated, I needed 10 stalker rifle kills, 2 Quickplay maps have a 50/50 chance of having this gun or it can be shock rifle
If it’s shock then I gotta go pnay the lottery again to get 1 of 2 maps again
Power weapons are also lottery, I need 10 sniper kills, 5 matches in a row, skewers
So plz do tell me how if I actually played game I’d know lol
Vehicles - only 2 Quickplay maps have vehicles, and brute chopper and ghosts are not 100% guaranteed to spawn, you have to pnay game and hope for the stars yo align
I’d like that. I’ve been fed up with PvP in all games for years, and I would much rather play against bots. I can play against bots in Battlefront II (2017) for hours and hours, and Battlefront II allows you to get most multiplayer achievements and unlocks. It’s great for new players, and people who just want a more relaxed multiplayer experience.
I hope 343 expands on bot gametypes and vehicle driving. And Firefight with objectives, like Battlefront II. There’s so much they could do. PvP will always have a crowd because it’s so competitive, I’d just like more options for PvE sometime down the road, and adding challenges to bot mode is a step in the right direction for people like me.
Can’t forget vehicle kills.
I’d say that there are definitely some vehicles that are easier to get a kill in then others. I would say top 2 most difficult would be the rocket mongoose and the rocket warthog. Due not only to spawn rate but overall difficulty. Notably impossible would be those not in Halo: Infinite.
Of course they wouldn’t why would they ever care about your time they want you to spend all your money on their game and not on your needs…
Sarcasm if you couldn’t tell.
Exactly this. Ultimately, I believe that playing the game for the fun if it is why we should be playing the game. I am also of the belief that a lot of people have simply forgotten that the Battle Pass does not disappear once the season ends unless you did not purchase it to begin with. If you purchased it, why stress over getting it done as quickly as possible when it is literally yours to own?
Perhaps, my line of thinking is in the minority… If so, I still couldn’t care less. I am playing this game because I am having fun doing so. People here can call me old fashioned if they want, but the simple act of playing alongside my wife and online with my friends and brothers is its own reward. Why should I try to adhere to someone else’s standards or preconceptions?
While I agree that the system, which is heavily dependent upon luck, is inherently flawed, that is no excuse to quit or throw matches. That only makes the person, or people, doing so look like a -Yoink!- while making things even more difficult for those that now have to pick up the slack due to that person, or those peoples’, negligence. Don’t be a -Yoink!-! No one likes playing with a -Yoink!-!
