…I, and I hope other longtime fans, will remember and reflect on the past 2 years.
I will fondly remember Armor Lock as the glorious rustler of countless jimmies.
I will remember a Sniper Rifle that tore vehicles to pieces.
I’ll remember gravity neutering jump heights like no other.
I’ll remember Bungie being nuts and demanding 6,000+ games for a helmet with a skull in it.
I’ll remember bloom being the rustler of even more jimmies.
I’ll remember camo sniping as a legitimate strategy.
I’ll remember Firefight being amazing in ODST, and meaningless in Reach, and finally give it a funeral as they have replaced it with Spartan Ops.
To me, Halo has been fantastic, and has never stopped being amazing, and I look forward to Halo 4 bringing it back to the top of the charts.
> I remember a lot of people couldn’t adapt to the ideal form of gameplay they wanted for Reach and just demanded Halo 2/3 again.
That’s what I’ll remember most too. Oh and I’ll remember how most said, “Halo Reach is the worst game on any platform”, Lol. Strange times, strange times.
> True. That’s the first time I’ve seen a title update apply to only half the playlists.
Because so many people can’t compromise. I don’t like the decisions for the TU but I don’t really care if it’s in the MLG or Arena playlist. But a lot of people don’t want me to enjoy Halo for my reasons. Every now and then we still get people demanding the removal of Infection or Grifball.
I remember when Halo 3 came out, and people just got used to the new mechanics instead of -Yoinking!- about them for the next 2 years. Then n00bs started hitting 50

</mark> that is not going to happen call of duty is way to popular and there is way to many people playing it i don’t even think halo 4 will be able to beat mw3 in population numbers

Call of Duty is stale and hasn’t gone anywhere since MW2 (and that’s being generous) and while its accessibility to n00bs is high, Halo is the higher quality experience, and I’ll play it regardless of its position on the charts.

For some reason, Grifball just wasn’t the same as it was in Halo 3. I LOVED it in Halo 3, but for some reason, I sucked with Reach GB.

> Yeah, but again, a problem with the community is that they don’t like exploring the gametype tweaks and options for some reason.
