I have about 550 hours put into halo 5 over the last year and a half, so I feel that I am able to recommend Titanfall 2 as a much more enjoyable game.
Also, has an amazing campaign and matchmaking is a breeze.

I’ve got quite a few hours in halo 5, and i gotta disagree, I’m having a lot of fun in halo 5 still. Maybe you should take a break and comeback to halo when you’re ready.
have you played titanfall 2 tho?
What is more enjoyable to you may not be to someone else. It’s all preference and opinions.
While Titanfall 2 is a fantastic game and I’m proud of Respawn Entertainment for avoiding the Season Pass and paid DLC in today’s Triple A climate, it still doesn’t offer the same experience Halo does.
Now I like Titanfall 2, I don’t play it enough to be honest, but a lot of people wont like its quick time-to-kill, the burn-card or class systems or even the general aesthetic of the game; so for them, Halo 5 might be the more enjoyable experience.
I’ve avoided Halo 5 like the plague personally so I couldn’t tell you which one I think is mechanically ‘better’, and as a recommendation I think Titanfall 2 is a good one, but maybe edge closer to suggestion and less to stating your opinion as fact next time.
Yeah, Titanfall 2 has very smooth mechanics and I rarely have lag when I play.

That’s what I did, I love halo more than any game series.
A lot of people who play games have a series that they would define as their series, not because they’re the best, just because maybe it’s what they grew up with, or it’s what they fell in love with before anything else, I’m both of those with Halo, my first series to ever fall in love with and will never love a series more. Also, growing up I had the playstations I didn’t actually own my own xbox until around 2012 which is when I officially owned my first halo, nevertheless I grew up playing it because I spent a lot of time at my cousins house playing them, and all the guys in my family had the game so I’d play it at al their places with splitscreen and we’d be entertained for hours.
That being said, it never hurts to play other games, I’m a star wars fan as big as a halo fan, actually probably bigger, anyways I took about a three week break from halo 5 because it felt a little stale, being as the only game I played for months, I played Skyrim, MCC, and a whack ton of GTA 5 and now I’m back to halo 5 and it feels as good as ever.
I do love how Respawn treats their community.
I’ve played both. but I definitely feel like Halo 5 is a overall better game. Titanfall 2 had some major balancing issues at launch, and it took them way too long to fix them. It was impossible to play a single match without getting plagued by the Hemlock, Sentry Turret, and Amped Walls. That alone took away all the enthusiasm I had for the game. Now that they’re fixed I still have no motivation to play. The replay-ability is just not there. I think its due mostly because of the limited weapon choice. There are only 2 or 3 viable weapons, and every match ends up playing out somewhat the same because of that. The campaign was done well, but it definitely felt a little short. Especially since there seems to be no plans for future titles. Neither of them are bad games, but I find myself playing Halo a lot more than Titanfall.
Im glad you like it. Its not for me though. Ill stick with Halo
Well the thing about saying things like like a certain game is better than another is purr opinion. There are a lot of people who also have a lot of hours in Halo 5 and would disagree with you (including me). Although I do think Titanfall is a good game and I played 2’s beta a little bit, I’ll still stick with Halo 5.
What’s different from TF to TF2? I played the first TF and liked it, but I love H5 a lot more. I’m going to get TF2 eventually by the way, just haven’t yet.

Agreed still having a lot of fun playing H5 whit my company
In my experience with Titanfall 2 (TF2), I have had more fun every game than I have in every game in halo. Even when my team is stomped into the ground and then teabagged i have so much fun. The movement abilities available in TF2, I feel, make up for any imperfections in the weapon sandbox.
It is also important to note that I live in Australia (AKA lag city). So it is quite common to load into a game heavily populated with Americans; this often results in a very high ping when playing. And since Halo relies on being able to hold your shot and aim well I often suffer from trading kills with the bad guy. TF2, on the other had, has an f-off TTK for almost every gun. Most of the time there is no way you are going to react and retaliate once the hit comes in. So that little bit of Autralia lag has no impact on the individual confrontation outcome.
On a similar note to the ‘lag/trading kills’ thought, the servers at 10/10.
I have played over 2000 games of slayer and over 900 games of Warzone and i would typically rank Platinum 3 - Diamond 3.
So BOY - do i understand Halo 5’s mechanics so this is where i come from with my recommendation.
I am not casually recommending TF2. I genuinely believe that this is a much more compelling and exciting experience than Halo 5.

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed TitanFall 2 as well. I bought it as a “what the hell” and to support a company that made a game with no season pass or lootbox-style micro transactions. I didn’t expect to enjoy it much and I figured I’d be back to H5 within a week.
It’s become an addiction. I thoroughly enjoy it and can’t recommend it enough.
In all honesty I enjoyed Titanfall 1 but from what I’ve seen of 2 I wouldn’t like it, they straight up removed the ability to play as the IMC (my prefered faction) because they went the “Team up with a quirky group of rebels to fight the evil manipulative conglomerate company” route, which along with the “Evil Empire” cliche, I’m sick to death of. Not to mention the HUD is even more cluttered with useless crap and more gimmicks have been forced into the game in order to appeal to a wider audience.
As for it playing like Halo, I have to disagree, as much as I liked 1 it played like Battlefield with wall-running and mechs. It was more fast-paced than any Halo game (even 343’s Halo’s) and there’s less connection emotionally to the universe as a whole.
Guys, guys, how about we all calm down, and just say. “To each his own”, also, I am totally not using this to increase my amount of posts(jk, of course I am!).
Oh, and you can still play as the IMC, and many other factions in the multiplayer matchmaking…
I play both. I enjoy both. If I had to choose, I’d go with Halo 5 over TF2, but it doesn’t mean I don’t like TF2.
Titanfall no thanks
its on the wishlist. but I’m broke as hell so i’ll get it when I can afford to spend the $$$
