Artistic direction (hunter and grunt)

Now that the banned are confirmed in the infinite halo,
It is essential that the halo wars 2 hunter and the grunt of “halo reach” or “halo wars 2” return in the infinite halo.
Indeed, when I looked at the infinite halo figures, I noticed that it does not correspond to the halo 2 wars.
When you look at the RTS (halo wars 2) from the developers of “creative assembly”, the growl design comes from “halo reach” while the banished design from the hunter comes from halo 2 with something new.
It would be nice if the developers could bring back these designs.
Here are the representations below:
(For my part, this artistic direction is much better.)

They absolutely must come back in the “halo infinite”.

You, the other players, what do you think ?

I will pay more attention to the forum rule.

Looks great, way better than H5.

Effectively.

At this point I hope you understand they can’t change anything. I admit the reach grunt will be missed, especially after we got teased with it in HW2. But the hunter? No, just… no. It’s the perfect incarnation. It feels more bulky and intimidating, respecting the original concept entirely in a way that feels like an evolution. An improvement.

It would not be bad to mix a bit of both artistic styles of bungi and 343 industries to have more variety

Here is my answer :

On the contrary, I hope that they will. If you look at the figurines of infinite halo, you will notice that the grognard and the hunter do not correspond to halo wars 2.
Bring back the grunts from halo reach.
I sincerely hope that they will make this change.

Here is my answer:

Yes, but I don’t want any modification for the grunt and the hunter. I prefer those of halo wars 2 because they remind us above all of the bungie style, there is a grunt of halo reach and a halo 2 hunter but with adjustments and you will notice that these are new designs closer to the style of bungie.
If the developers put the grunts of halo reach, it would perfectly coincide with the first bungie and halo wars 2 games in terms of artistic direction.
For my part, I prefer the grunts of halo reach.

If you want, the developers of halo infinite can bring back the original grunts from halo reach and also put those of halo 4 as did halo wars 2. They can also bring back the hunters of halo wars 2 and also put those of halo 4.
This will please everyone.

What do you think ?

dont tell them how to make art.

WARINATOR117

Here is my answer :

I don’t tell them how to make art. They can do whatever they want because it’s their game after all.
I’m just making suggestions because a forum is made for that.
Besides, you forget to say that the developers can listen to the players very well as they have done since the development of the infinite halo.

listening an suggesting are two different things.

theres no rule saying they have to do what fans say. they can’t.

under contract.

suggesting things is fine, but telling them to do this or that is telling them.

again. forums are meant for communication an interaction. doesn’t they have to delay the gamee even more for fans to tell them how to rework this design cause you do or others don’t like it.

its the devs who have the artists.

you guys cannot tell them what to do.

giving ideas is different than suggesting or reworking an concept cause it doesn’t fit the original saga? well the new trilogy is not aim for the classic. doesn’t have to be.

Listen. I know very well what to say and not to say. In this case, here, a forum has been created to listen to the community.
You forget to say once again that the developers agree to listen and know what the players think otherwise a forum on the infinite halo would not be present.

(To suggest means the same thing as to give ideas.)

I advise you to read the rules of the forum to know what it is.

Considering the new art style is a little reminiscent of the Bungie era, I can imagine design schemes not too far off from the ones Bungie made, or maybe they can have more than one design scheme implemented like in Halo Wars 2. They had the Reach based designs for regular unggoy and the Halo 4/5 design for their suicidal counterparts, although 343 doesn’t traditionally do this for the sake of convience in developmental time but since Halo Infinite had more time, anything is possible.

Indeed, the developers of infinite halo try to draw inspiration from the bungie era and return to the root of the halo saga (we can see it very well through the two trailers that were presented to the public), which is rather a very good idea, because it is still necessary not to omit what has been done before.

I would also add that it is fundamental to respect an artistic direction that was made before to give a certain logic especially if it is a continuation of an episode. To give an example, halo 4 did not correspond to halo 3 when you look at its artistic direction, which is a shame and it is especially what displeased many players.
Of course, I prefer the artistic direction of the first bungie trilogy because it was the episodes that marked me the most.
(I honestly think Bungie should have done this sequel)
However, I was not against the novelty of this episode but the developers should still do the same artistic direction as Halo 3 because you still have to keep what Bungie did in terms of artistic direction. I know very well that at some point you have to add something new because otherwise bring you what is more interesting but nothing prevents you from keeping what has been done before.
Unfortunately, I noticed that the developers will not go back on what they did and prefer to project themselves into the future.

Finally, I sincerely hope that the developers will catch up on this episode and that they will keep elements of the first bungie trilogy, namely the grunts from halo reach. They are still part of the first bungie trilogy.
