Artistic choices - can ruin armor.

Armors have gotten a little crazy with their markings, lately.
The mark v aplha new variant, the camo dynast variant, just a little too decorative for a spartan.

Or other types of too much artistic freedom.

White markings, example kat’s new armor (intruder).
To have kat’s armor have white paint smeared all over it…

I’d be ok with white or silver over one arm…
but all the chest paint?

Agreed. I understand that Kat had some white accents, but as it is in the update, the white is too much, ESPECIALLY if it can’t be changed, which I’m pretty sure is the case.

She had some stripes but that was it.

Let’s hope they give a faithful variant with accurate markings.(for George too (red marks).)

And maybe silver paint down one arm?

Exactly!
I like the silver paint idea^

Decimator is nice too but the white ruins it.

Yeah, 343i just can’t create a few sets of armour without covering one in white paint.

Honestly… When will they understand that not everybody wants their armour to be covered in white crap? When I first saw the armour, I was tempted to use it. But now that I see that it’s half white? Never going to wear it. Ever.

Agreed, I don’t understand why 343 keeps making armors with unchangeable white lines (Helljumper, Intruder(Kat)), Unchangeable Blue Lines, Mismatched Secondary color brightness to primary (Mark VI Gen 1, Hunter), Mismatched sections of primary brightness (Achilles, Mark IV Arcadia), etc.

How hard is it to have clean, no white or blue lines, armor with properly matching uniform Primary and Secondary colors.

Too hard aparently.
#no-more-marks

I agree this is a bummer not because I care about lore but the armors covered in bright -Yoink- white make you the biggest target in the world. These are armors reminiscent of elite soldiers, and I’m pretty sure elite soldiers don’t mindlessly spraypaint their armors with white. Actually that statement applies to all the white ridden armors. If we can’t change the third armor color then in the very least the accents should be dark. Some people might not think about the colors much but when I’m in serious mode I stick to colored terrain that gives me a small advantage in battle. With the white paint armors that’s impossible.

White paint , It’s ugly.
But more importantly it attracts attention <<<

Either make it.
1- Removable.
2- Match team color.
3- Or…invert markings to black.

It makes even a great looking armor un-wearable.

Both Helljumper sets have the white plague.
And are barely wearable because of it.

It makes you stand out everywhere.
