Artemis in Multiplayer?

Today I was told that pressing up on D pad which does the Artemis ping thing in Campaign does something in multiplayer. What it does? I’m not sure no one will tell me because they think I’m trolling. I can’t blame them because I’m a higher rank than all of them and know so much about the game they don’t know. Can someone tell me what this does?

Pings you on the map for your team to see. You can use it as a sign for them to help you. Your service tag will flash yellow off and on. Pretty useful sometimes.

If you ever see teammates with a flashing yellow diamond above their heads, that’s what it does. It’s a way to tell your allies that there are enemies near your location. Unfortunately, most people either don’t notice it or don’t know what it means so it’s generally ignored. It would be a lot better if it was a way to actually spot enemies in the larger game types like WZ.

it pings you on the map and in custom games if you do that and hold x you can go into picture mod which you are not first person anymore.

keep pressing it during matches for a good time

Pressing up on the D Pad in multiplayer will make your service tag flash yellow for your teammates.

It’s used as a way to draw attention to your position and communicate to your team non verbally.
I use it as a way to ping my location to my team when I need backup during a firefight.

Thanks for the replies everyone now I know why I have never heard of this in-game function. It is completely useless to anyone who owns a working mic.
