What happened? why would we suddenly remove crotch protection and spend the extra $ on colored underuits? Literally like 10 / 200 or so of the armor in Halo 5 designed by 343 looks ok. Why are spartans smooth and glittery? We are supposed to look like tanks. Not power rangers. Why do all the maps looks so similar? Why are they all reskins? Why do the weapons look so meh? I don’t understand 343’s art direction in any way. They took the look of Halo and threw it in the closet. At least Creative Assembly is bringing it out of the closet and doing a nice little pet project. But that doesn’t change the fact that Halo 4 and 5 are visually unappealing.
