Well I’ve been playing Halo since Halo 3 and i just love the br easily one of the most beloved weapons the gaming industry not to say I don’t like the AR but I think it’s just silly to not have a dedicated BR playlist just want to get some opinions though
I’d rather have AR starts, Halo becomes a boring hide and seek game when everyone is sniping BR shots across the map and nothing else. Especially with Halo 5’s insanely low kill times that would just suck, BRs are practically power weapons that should be placed on the map.

Pretty much this exactly. I love the BR, but if everyone has one, then the game just gets stale IMO.

Not much better with the OP magnum. So they should just give us BR starts instead.

ar/pistol starts re the best it actually gives players a reason to venture out and get new weapons.
starting players it the defacto jackof al trades is foolish.
I prefer BR starts but I’m happy with the magnum in this game
I love the AR being a starting weapon, however I wouldn’t mind a BR Playlist, I probably wont touch it but it’ll make everyone else happy.
ARs are more traditional and more satisfying. I like both but, ARs take the cake for me.
i like AR on most of the maps-- i loathe orion on swat with the BR, and playing it on regular slayer would (in my mind) be nearly as bad. i’m not sure if that’s really a critique of the gun starts or of the map. regardless, i like the AR on most maps and picking up BRs and DMRs as i go, makes it feel a bit more balanced. if anything i wouldn’t mind more gametypes with the SMG start.
Binary Rifle starts are overpowered. Assault Rifle plz.
… Oh, you meant Battle Rifle? Eh, well regarding that I’m neutral.
Large Maps with tons of open spaces = BR Start is the only way to go.
Medium to Small maps, or ones with lots of CQC potential = Assault Rifle preferred.
you need to get good at both really you can’t succeed without both
Ar start cuz with br everyone stays at their spawn just shooting across the map and thats not halo for me.
