Armour Cores are too restrictive

Why are Reach helmets locked too one armour core.
Why can’t that helmet go on To the default one.
I understand why some parts of the armour might not fit but helmets should be able to be put on both I feel this restricts your customisation of your Spartan. Cause I doubt they will make two of the same helmets for different armour cores.
If you wanna wear that helmet and those shoulder pads from Reach armour core but wear a Normal helmet that could fit you can’t do that.
Hopefully 343 can add mixes later.

They call it “monetization” and I hate it like Satan himself.

Armor Cores are a bad idea on their own. Unless they plan to give out armor duplicates like candy for every core, this is nothing but restriction.

Looks like Halo Infinite has what seems to be Halo 5s Armor restrictions along with unique team skins, weapon skins and armor cores that you can not mix together. To me Halo Infinites Customization is supposed to be Reach, Halo 3 and Halo 4 put together. Maybe they will change down the road.

I do not understand why they decided to segregate the already limited pool of initial cosmetics. The Yoroi armour perhaps makes sense as it is sort of its own thing and quite a distinct shape. I do not really see why we cannot mix-and-match Mark VII and Mark VB pieces and coatings.

Why not allow us to combine armour, but limit individual pieces if they prove problematic due to awkward clipping or something? Or start with them separated but gradually approve them for use with multiple cores after testing?

It is going to be frustrating a few months down the line when all of your favourite pieces are distributed between multiple cores and you cannot combine them. I wonder if they will relax this policy in the future.

I agree. Fracture armors having their own Cores makes perfect sense, but basic armor should be merged.

It’s just taking options away from us, and I wouldn’t consider that very pro-consumer.

I don’t get why the colors are restricted to certain cores too.

Like, apparently the MK V [B] cant have the anniversary skin. Why? I thought their new fancy 7 layer thing allowed them to apply any skin to anything.

Its almost like it was a bunch of marketing BS to try and impress us with limited options.

I completely agree with you, what with all the customisable options that we have in the MCC, this is what we end up with for the new Halo?
