I think the shader system should be changed to almost a blank camo type effect that’s overlayed on whatever colours you wish to apply for the armour, there could be a base colour pallet then you could unlock others similar to warframes pallets for different shades ect as well as being able to colour armour pieces individually then place your favourite shader over that. Cores are cool in concept but being able to mix and choose would be amazing for pure aesthetic freedom. The cores themselves could even be used as a way to save multiple sets and habe your creations on display apposed to a lockout of different armour types.

I agree. Armor cores shouldn’t even exist so we can mix and match armor pieces. I want my spartan to have a little bit of everything from every generation of halo.
