armour colors

so there has been some kind of thread in the halo series where the black armor color was been put in game and taken out

why not just keep it in

Because when playing Halo 1 with friends on split-screen, everyone used it and it was the most irritating thing ever. It resulted in lots of couch co-op violence.

I made a H2A infection game where you hide at night in bushes from zombies. Lets just say all my friends use steel/black now, its funny.

I think the black armor in halo 5 is way to light in the waypoint, but it is probably darker in the engine.

It was the same way for Halo 4. The armor and coloring inside the menu was extremely bright, like a production level studio light was being shined into your Spartan’s face. This was similar with Halo 3 as well, and when you entered a game the lighting scheme was much different. I can see this being consistent with the lighting of different maps changing how you see your armor and coloring in game.

No one knows why we are limited to set colors at this point in technology at all…

those were good times

The Armor colors in Halo 5 are very “Reach.” A bit muted and desaturated. Guess they don’t want Spartans sticking out like sore thumbs.

Sadly, that is no longer an issue.

Really? I’m seeing mostly bright pastels.

I miss black armor… just sayin.

Black armor would be sick, either way you’d only see your true armor color in few playlists.
