Halo infinite has now been out for more than 6 months. Season 2 will end on the one year mark of the games release. And yet for all of the armour coatings that 343 have released either through campaign, battle pass, store and regional limited promotions.
There is not one single coating that matches the colour combination that i have used throughout the entire Halo multiplayer past games. I feel like a part of my idenity is missing in Halo infinite because of this.
It is abundently clear that what 343 claimed about the armour coating system and how it would improve player experience has not come true. The saying “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it” applies massively in this regard. The only 2 logical options are 1) get rid of the coating system and replace it with the traditional colour system. 2) make the coating system the template and allow players to change the colour options for each design template
