Armour Abilities are the only irredeemable feature

Seriously when this game comes out people will be saying “You know what all those new features are quite well balanced and refreshing, but armour abilities are still such an gamebreaking abomination. Halo is dead to me now.”

Instead of having a “Classic mode” you should have a “Reachtard mode” for people who like AAs. Then everyone else who prefers Real Halo would be happy and we can move on.

Actually if you guys like AA so much just play Reach and stop ruining Halo.

Thank you, finally someone with a voice of reason on the forums.

343 is not Bungie. You have no idea. You have absolutely no idea how much they have improved (or worsen) Armor abilities.

I didnt think any of them are so bad, I’ve never seen any game do anything like it i thought it was a new fresh idea, these new changes are too mostly, except the unlocking bit being a reused deviation from the arena game halo actually always has been into a class based shooter that its about to be.
no aa harmed any game i played.
*my brother and his team doubles partner did the fight n back out leading them into a fresh guy tactic long before there was a sprint
*I’ve never seen hologram do anything except distract the first bullet if that
*invis was available in beaver creek in halo ce
*armor lock is the most beatable one that somehow nobody can figure out, shoot, armor lock, step back until the aa runs out, finish shooting
*jet pack jumps people to hieghts faster, so what. some guy grabbed a shotty then ran out and jet packed up to the sword, its slow and the guys a target up there, not to mention sprint will get you to the lift and to the sword first
*bubble shield is never used even
*evade is also unused nearly.

why does any of that do any harm to you? its not even that far from the equipment of halo 3 that most on this forum seem to idolize, flaws clumsiness and all

Yes, instead of shoving us into one or two playlists like in Reach (MLG, TU slayer). They should be shoving the idiots into one big cesspit of a playlist, call it pro zombies killers of duty, or something. Then just cater all the other playlists to the real halo fans.

They are. In fact the pop count there for reach, is always much higher there, then the number of players here crying about AAs.

You sound like someone who didn’t play Halo 3 when it was at its prime. There were at least 3 times the amount of players on than Reach has at its peak times. Reach is only in its second year, and yet Halo 3 had way more players on every day in its final year before Reach.

Those players not playing Reach daily are the ones ‘crying’ about AAs. Not to mention, quite a few players play Reach simply because it’s Halo, and yet they hate the AAs.

i played both halo 3 and reach and i like Armor abilities, I just love seeing noobs fall for holograms and noobs using armor lock wrongly LOL

At the skill level you play at people don’t know how to abuse AA’s to their full potential. At high levels of play they do nothin but break the game.

I hate the armour abilities why do we even need them? It ruins the real gameplay of halo. I especially hate the hologram.
